Jorge Sanz (born 26 August 1969) is a Spanish actor and is one of the most prominent actors of the Spanish cinema since the 1980s. He is known to international audiences for his roles in the films: Amantes (1991) by director Vicente Aranda and Fernando Trueba’s Belle Époque (1992).

When two youth football teams from Madrid and Barcelona with a longstanding rivalry reach the finals of the Youth Spanish Cup, the tension explodes on and off the field. The film is set in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, in the wake of the Spanish Civil War.
