Julia Foster (born 2 August 1943) is an English actress.

Foster's credits include the films The System (1964) with Oliver Reed, The Bargee (1964) with Harry H. Corbett, Alfie (1966) with Michael Caine, Half a Sixpence (1967) with Tommy Steele, and Percy (1971) with Hywel Bennett.

On television, in 1969, she appeared in the second episode of series 1 of the Doctor in the House UK situation comedy series.
She also starred as the eponymous heroine in the BBC production of Moll Flanders (1975) and also appeared alongside John Stride in the Yorkshire Television series Wilde Alliance in 1978. Additionally she appeared with Michael Winner in a British TV advert for Esure car insurance.

She played Queen Margaret of Anjou in the BBC Television Shakespeare adaptations of Henry VI and Richard III, which received its UK broadcast in January 1983.

Foster was born in Lewes, Sussex. Her first husband was Lionel Morton, once the lead singer with the 1960s pop band The Four Pennies. She is the mother of British television celebrity Ben Fogle with her second husband, veterinarian Bruce Fogle. Foster is also a seller of antique furniture, in particular decorated Scandinavian furniture of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Handsome Cockney chauffeur Alfie Elkins (Michael Caine) enjoys the favors of women, while avoiding any commitment. He ends an affair with a married woman, Siddie (Millicent Martin), just as he gets his submissive single girlfriend, Gilda (Julia Foster), pregnant. She also bars Alfie from any further contact with Malcolm, forcing Alfie to watch from a distance as Humphrey steps into his fatherly role. When a health check reveals Alfie has tubercular shadows on his lungs, the diagnosis, combined with his separation from his son, leads him to have a brief mental breakdown.

In Notting Hill's jazz club, coffee bar and bedsit land of the early 1960s, Joe Beckett is a young unemployed misfit and drifter whose life takes a turn for the worse when he encounters Richard Dyce, an ex-army veteran.
