Jun Miho (美保 純, Miho Jun, born 4 August 1960) is a Japanese actress.

Biography

Né à Shizuoka, Miho travaille dans un grand magasin et comme modèle glamour seins nus avant de jouer dans le film érotique de Mamoru Watanabe , Uniform Virgin Pain (Seifuku shojo no itami) en septembre 1981. Quelques mois plus tard, elle apparaît dans un autre film de ce genre, Koichiro Uno's Wet and Riding, un épisode d'une longue série de la Nikkatsu adapté des romans érotiques de Kōichirō Uno. En juillet 1982, Miho joue dans le premier épisode de la série de films Pink Curtain de la Nikkatsu. Les trois épisodes racontent l'histoire d'un frère et de sa sœur essayant de surmonter la mort de leurs parents et qui tombent dans une relation incestueuse. Selon les critiques Thomas et Yuko Weisser, la nature controversée de ces films a fait de Miho une « sensation dans le monde de la nuit » et permis le début de sa carrière dans les films traditionnels. Elle remporte les meilleures récompenses au Japan Academy Prize et au Blue Ribbon Awards pour la série des Pink Curtain.

Dans les films plus traditionnels, elle tient un rôle régulier dans la série de films Otoko wa tsurai yo avec le personnage d'Akemi, la fille du propriétaire de l'imprimerie. Elle apparaît également à la télévision comme actrice et commentatrice. L'un de ses plus grands rôles est celui de Yōko Hiragi, la fille avocate du procureur public Shigeru Hiragi, surnommée « Navet rouge » (Akakabu). La série à suspense commence en avril 1990 avec Akakabu Kenji Funsenki (« Bataille à la cour de Navet rouge ») sur ABC et se poursuit avec deux autres en octobre 1990 et février 1991. Ils sont suivis en tout par onze téléfilms de janvier à mars 1992 avant la fin de la série.

L'histoire commence au Japon en 1814, pendant la période Edo. Edo est la ville actuellement appelée Tokyo. O-Ei est l'une des quatre filles du peintre Tetsuzo, qui se fait ensuite connaître sous le nom de Katsushika Hokusai. Le film se déroule au moment où O-Ei accède à l'âge adulte tandis que son père, âgé d'une grande cinquantaine d'années, est déjà un artiste reconnu dans son pays. Dans son atelier où règne un désordre monstrueux, Tetsuzo passe son temps à créer de somptueuses œuvres d'art. Il est capable de dessiner un ogre sur une surface de 120 tatamis comme de peindre deux moineaux sur un grain de riz, de dessiner des hommes influents, des dragons ou des scènes érotiques. C'est un homme à l'humeur changeante, sarcastique, qui n'est pas mû par la soif de l'argent. O-Ei tient de son père son talent et son obstination. Elle peint très souvent à sa place, sans signer son travail, afin de boucler les commandes ; elle n'obtient donc aucune reconnaissance pour son talent.

Aya Tsukimori, the most popular girl at a Catholic school in a small town, suddenly shut herself in her room and won't come out. One of Aya's admirers, Kasumi Nohara, starts to miss her and one night kissed her photo right before midnight as the rumour about a curse that affects only girls started to spread in the school. One day, Risa Suzumori and Itsuki Kikunobe skipped school and begins to discuss a rumour in their school about a recent popular ritual; if you kiss a photo of the one you love, you will be together with the said person. Mary, a former student of their school, explains the origin of the rumour, but Itsuki dismisses it since Mary never actually graduated. During gardening period, Michi, Kasumi's close friend, takes a break with Kasumi and takes her to the forest for a walk. However, while discussing about Aya, Kasumi suddenly disappeared. At night, Michi, sneaks into Kasumi's room and finds Aya's photo and decides to keep it. The next day, during class, Michi sees Aya outside the classroom, but the others doesn't seem to notice her. Aya then whispers into Michi to 'free her from her curse' and Michi collapses shortly after the class was over. Risa and Itsuki helps Michi into her room and discovers Aya's photo and placed it at the chapel until Kasumi return. Risa then sees a vision of Aya, also telling her to free her from her curse before finding herself trying to kiss Aya's photo at the chapel.

Tora-san's family's neighbor, Akemi, who had been married in Marriage Counselor Tora-san (1984), runs away from her husband, who is only interested in work.
