Karen Cliche (/ˈkliːʃ/; born July 22, 1976) is a Canadian actress. She's best known for her roles as a regular on the TV series Vampire High, Adventure Inc., Mutant X, Young Blades, and Flash Gordon.

She is married to Brian Mellersh since September 24, 2005. They have a daughter, born on 6 January 2010.

Predatory lenders Simone and Eddie awaken on either side of a room split by a cage containing a scale, wearing head harnesses with screws poised to pierce their temples. They learn via videotape that the one who sets more flesh weight on their tray will survive. Eddie cuts fat from his torso, but Simone chops off her arm, which tilts the scale in her favor; the timer expires, and Eddie is killed by the screws. While he reviews the game's footage, Detective Lt. Mark Hoffman is called to the scene by FBI Agent Dan Erickson, who found Agent Peter Strahm's fingerprints around the room. Also present is Agent Lindsey Perez, whose survival was covered up by Erickson for her protection. They learn from Dr. Adam Heffner, who performed all of the autopsies for the Jigsaw case, that the knife used to cut the jigsaw piece from Eddie's flesh was only used on Seth Baxter before then. The agents intend to find the Baxter videotape to prove Strahm's involvement.

The film starts with the murder of narrator Andrew Kissel (John Stamos), and is told through a series of flashbacks and documentary interviews, telling the story of how embezzling real estate mogul Andrew and his younger Wall Street broker brother, Robert (Anson Mount) meet their untimely ends. The two men compete for the affection of their disapproving father, and try to one-up each other with Robert marrying social climber Nancy (Robin Tunney) and having three children, while Andrew marries TV news analyst Haley (Gretchen Egolf). Nancy starts having an affair and kills her husband in Hong Kong, while Andrew starts doing drugs. Nancy is convicted for Robert's murder and sentenced to life in a Hong Kong women's prison, while Andrew's driver Juan Castillo is arrested for Andrew's murder. Nancy and Robert's daughters are in the custody of his sister, while Haley starts using her maiden name and returns to work.

Slim (Stephen Dorff), Frank (Steven McCarthy), Otis (Cle Bennett) and Alex (Karen Cliche) are a group of youthful bank robbers who commit their crimes anonymously and in innovative ways involving extreme sports such as skating and snowboarding. Enter the Mafia, represented by underworld enforcer Surtayne (Steven Berkoff), who instructs the group to work for them also or they will all be killed. Slim becomes romantically involved with Karen (Natasha Henstridge), a detective who distrusts Macgruder, and to save her and his friends escape from the threat of the anonymous man and the Mafia, Slim concocts a daring robbery.
