Katarzyna Figura (born 22 March 1962) is a Polish actress. She is sometimes billed as "Kasia Figura", as in Prêt-à-Porter (Ready to Wear), Robert Altman's 1994 film.
Après son premier succès dans Pociąg do Hollywood (1987), elle tient un peu le rôle d'une Marilyn Monroe polonaise. Elle devient l'une des plus célèbres actrices contemporaines de l'industrie du film polonaise. Elle joue d'ordinaire des rôles de beautés blondes, prostituées, et d'épouses d'hommes riches, mais elle a récemment changé radicalement de style pour des caractères plus mûrs, des personnages amers ou tristes.
En 2004, elle revient au théâtre après une longue pause. Son rôle comme Alina to the West de Paweł Miśkiewicz au théâtre dramatique de Varsovie a été salué par la critique. Elle avait dû se raser la tête pour ce rôle, ce qui a brisé son image de sex symbol.

Après s'être diplômée en 1985 au l'École supérieure nationale de Théâtre de Varsovie, elle joue au Teatr Wspolczesny (1985 - 1988), puis elle continue ses études d'art dramatique au Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique de Paris.Après son premier succès dans Pociąg do Hollywood (1987), elle tient un peu le rôle d'une Marilyn Monroe polonaise. Elle devient l'une des plus célèbres actrices contemporaines de l'industrie du film polonaise. In September 1939, Władysław Szpilman (Adrien Brody), a Polish-Jewish pianist, is playing live on the radio in Warsaw when the station is bombed during Nazi Germany's invasion of Poland which caused the outbreak of World War II. Hoping for a quick victory, Szpilman celebrates with his posh family at home when learning that Britain and France have declared war on Germany. German troops soon enter Warsaw and the Nazi authorities implement measures to identify, isolate, financially ruin and reduce the Jewish population in Warsaw. Jews are ordered to provide their own identifying armbands with the Star of David.

The time flies and Jurek Kiler has already forgotten the fact that he used to work as a taxi driver and that he was suspected of series of murders. He is now a public person, and together with his girlfriend Ewa runs a foundation that successfully raises money from all over the world. He is now a man of a great renown as he injects a substantial sums of money into various public institutions. However, the idyllic life becomes thwarted when two murderers who do their time - Siara and Lipski - do everything to blow him away. En mars 1994, c'est la semaine de la mode de Paris, avec le grand et le petit mondes qui gravitent autour.
