Kim Murphy (born Kim Murphy Zandell; February 8, 1974) is an American actress known for her roles in such movies as Houseguest and Burning Annie and her roles in the television series Level 9 and 24.
Murphy then appeared in many television series including her recurring role on Cybill, Party of Five (playing a young girl contemplating having an abortion) and Snoops.
In 1997, Murphy starred in play Miracles at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego, that garned her awards as well as good reviews. She played Pizza Hut Action Girl in series of Star Wars commercials in 1999.
Her movie credits includes: horror Campfire Tales along with Alex McKenna, City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage, The In Crowd and independent Burning Annie, that garnered her a SMMASH Film Festival nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Biography
Born in Olympia, Washington, Murphy attended Tumwater High School in Tumwater, Washington, where she studied and performed dance, gymnastics and contortion. She graduated in class of '92. Her first big role was that of the teenage daughter in the film Houseguest, starring Phil Hartman and Sinbad.Murphy then appeared in many television series including her recurring role on Cybill, Party of Five (playing a young girl contemplating having an abortion) and Snoops.

In the 1950s, Jenny (Amy Smart) and Eddie (James Marsden) are kissing in a car at a viewpoint. Jenny becomes nervous that someone is watching them after they hear a radio broadcast of a madman on the loose in the area. Kevin Franklin (Sinbad) is an inner-city Pittsburgh native; raised in an orphanage, has delusions of grandeur, and talks about getting rich and driving a Porsche one day. 25 years later, he drives a rusted MG Midget and all his ambitions revolve around a series of ill-fated get-rich-quick schemes. A handshake loan of $5,000 from the mob grows to $50,000 through interest and penalties, resulting in his trying to skip town at Pittsburgh International Airport. He overhears a conversation between lawyer Gary Young (Hartman) and his children, who are waiting to pick up his childhood friend, Derek Bond, who is now a successful, straight-laced and vegetarian dentist. Upon hearing him say that he hasn't seen Bond in 25 years and doesn't know what he looks like, Franklin gives his baseball cap to the real Bond to throw off the two dim-witted mobsters chasing him and poses as Bond to the Youngs, who take him to their posh home in Sewickley.
