Aquino, III, the 15th President of the Philippines.

Biography

Aquino had a live-in relationship with married actor Phillip Salvador with whom she has a son named Joshua. In 2003 she dated comedian Joey Marquez which gave her syphilis.

Aquino was married to Philippine Basketball Association professional player James Yap in a civil marriage ceremony on July 10, 2005. The following year, she announced on The Buzz that she was pregnant. In April 2007, Aquino gave birth to her first son by Yap, James Carlos "Bimby" Aquino Yap, Jr., in Makati City. In 2006, a former medical clinic receptionist stated that James Yap had an extra-marital affair with her.

Aquino suffered a miscarriage with a collapsed gestational sac and blighted ovum on March 25, 2008. On June 27, 2010, Aquino announced that she had separated from Yap, citing personal reasons and stated she was seeking a de facto divorce from him. On March 21, 2013, Aquino appeared in a 30-minute interview with TV Patrol to announce her resignation from all of her ABS-CBN shows to spend time with her youngest son.

She later stated that James Yap made sexual advances towards her inside her room, which she refused. She said Yap threatened her in the presence of Bimby, who was traumatized by the incident. Aquino filed a temporary protection order on March 20, 2013. In the petition, she asked the court to order Yap to stay away from her, her son, and any household member, keep a distance of at least 100 meters, and to stay away from her residence, school, place of employment, or any place frequented by her and her son.

In early April 2014, Aquino posted a photograph on her Instagram account that showed her with her children, her siblings and Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista having dinner. This fueled rumors that she and Bautista were dating. She confirmed this during the April 5 live episode of her evening show Aquino and Abunda Tonight. Speculation arose about the relationship after it emerged that Bautista had not yet ended his other relationship with his long-time partner and mother of two of his children. Finally, on April 21, Aquino hinted on Aquino and Abunda Tonight that she and Bautista had stopped dating.
