Lexi Alexander (born 23 August 1974) is a German-born film director and former World Point Fighting and Karate Champion. At the age of 19, she became world champion in both, retired from professional fighting and moved to the US, where she landed the part of Kitana in Mortal Kombat: Live Tour.

She continued to worked as a stunt woman while studying acting and directing at the Piero Dusa Acting Conservatory and UCLA. Her first short film Johnny Flynton was nominated for an Academy Award in 2003.

Her first feature film Green Street Hooligans was the only movie in the history of The South by Southwest festival to win both the audience and Jury award. Furthermore, it nominated for the William Shatner Golden Groundhog Award for Best Underground Movie, the other nominated films were MirrorMask, Nine Lives, Up for Grabs and Opie Gets Laid. Having spent her childhood watching her family's favorite German soccer team Waldhof Mannheim, Lexi always had a fascination with the sport and its passionate fans. Inspired by these experiences, she co-wrote a screenplay with former-hooligan-turned-writer Dougie Brimson about the firm of West Ham United.

Alexander directed the late 2008 film Punisher: War Zone with Ray Stevenson as Frank Castle/The Punisher. The movie failed to deliver at the box-office, but comedian Patton Oswalt became an avid fan of the film and publicized it on blogs, podcasts and at his Deeper into the Darkness Film Festival, where audiences lined up around the block to screen the film. It soon turned into a cult hit and several news outlets have since then blamed the studio's marketing department for the movie's financial failure.

Disappointed about her first studio experience, Lexi Alexander wrote and directed the spiritual movie Lifted (2011), which The Power of Now author Eckhart Tolle praised as "A beautiful story - uplifting, inspiring and healing. Screen Media picked up distribution rights. Lexi has directed an episode of Anthony Zuiker's BlackBoxTV channel titled EXECUTION STYLE and continues to focus on screenwriting her own projects. She is represented by Mosaic in Los Angeles, United States.

After a quick brawl the GSE get blamed for the assault and are transported to another prison where a huge number of Bushwackers are waiting for them. Soon after arrival the crew meet up with Marc and his crew, who declare their intentions to make the GSE's time in the prison tough. Matt Buckner (Elijah Wood), a journalism major, is expelled from Harvard University after cocaine is discovered in his room. However, the cocaine belongs to Jeremy Van Holden (Terence Jay), his roommate. Buckner is afraid to speak up because the Van Holdens are a powerful family, and Jeremy offers him $10,000 for taking the fall. Matt doesn't initially accept the money, but reconsiders and uses the money to visit his sister Shannon (Claire Forlani), her husband Steve Dunham (Marc Warren) and their young son, Ben (James Allison) living in London. There, Matt meets Steve's brother, Pete (Charlie Hunnam), an acerbic and imposing Cockney who leads the local football hooligan firm - a group of football supporters that arranges fights after matches - and teaches at a local school. Steve asks Pete to take Matt to a football match between West Ham United and Birmingham City, though Pete is reluctant to take a "Yank" to a football match, because of the xenophobic attitude of his friends. He is persuaded because Steve will only give the money Pete needs to Matt. After defeating Matt in a fight, Pete decides to take Matt to the football match, thinking he might learn something about football.
