Biography
D'abord mannequin, il tient son premier grand rôle au cinéma dans OSS 117 prend des vacances. Mais assez rapidement, il trouve des rôles dans le cinéma italien, dont il devient une vedette dans les années 1970, en tenant notamment le rôle principal de nombreux polars. En France, on le remarque surtout dans le feuilleton Châteauvallon. Il quitte ensuite le métier de comédien et se reconvertit, avec son épouse, dans la profession d'antiquaire. Spécialisé dans l'art asiatique, il tient un magasin d'antiquités à Saint-Ouen et une galerie à Thoiry. Ayant cessé toute activité de comédien au début des années 1990, il fait en 2007 un brève apparition clin-d'œil dans Hostel, chapitre II.Usually with

Shortly after the events of Hostel, Paxton (Jay Hernandez) is suffering from nightmares and lives in seclusion with his girlfriend Stephanie (Jordan Ladd). The two get into an argument where Stephanie denounces Paxton's paranoia as exaggerated and insufferable. She wakes up the next morning to find Paxton decapitated. Bruno Martel (Luc Merenda) is a "Z movie" actor with hero syndrome, often quarrelling with directors. Rome, 1977. In a more and more confused climate, between popular discontent and difficulties of the government, a terrorist group is training his men in anticipation of a major military action: the elimination of the Minister of the Interior. At one point, the organization decides to abandon the plan, as it is believed that a massacre would not improve the condition of the poorer classes. But Mara, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, Ferruccio, a young professor, and Bruno, a drifter guy, do not want to withdraw. On their own initiative they will make the attempt, which will be end into a massacre. The minister dies, and with him many members of his entourage as well as the same Bruno. Mara and Ferruccio manage to escape through a Rome becoming lawless. Once in a den they eventually opt to shoot each other, while outside the tanks parading through the streets: the coup started.
