Lucas Stephen Grabeel (/ˈɡreɪbiːl/; born November 23, 1984) is an American actor, singer, songwriter, dancer, director and producer. As a performer, he is best known for his role as Ryan Evans in the High School Musical film series, and as Ethan Dalloway in the third and fourth installments of the Halloweentown series: Halloweentown High (2004) and Return to Halloweentown (2006). He's also known for his role as teenage Lex Luthor in Smallville. He currently plays Toby Kennish in the ABC Family drama Switched at Birth. He provides the voice of Deputy Peck in the Disney Junior TV series Sheriff Callie's Wild West.

Lucas Grabeel commence sa carrière dans un téléfilm de Disney Channel: Halloweentown High, diffusé en octobre 2004. Il obtient ensuite quelques petits rôles dans diverses séries (Boston Justice, ou Veronica Mars) avant de devenir Ryan Evans dans la comédie musicale High School Musical : Premiers pas sur scène, également diffusée par Disney Channel. Il interprète à cette occasion trois titres de la bande originale. Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) performs a dance number at the Lava Springs Country Club ("Gonna Shine"). There she meets a famous producer Jerry Taylor (Pat Mastroianni) who offers her a chance to star in his newest show on Broadway. Sharpay thinks the audition is for her, but it's actually for Boi, her dog. Sharpay later convinces her father Vance (Robert Curtis Brown) to let her move to New York City on her own. He hesitantly accepts, but he has a condition: if the plan backfires, Sharpay is forced to move back with her parents and work at Lava Springs. While in New York, Sharpay is kicked out of her penthouse because they don't allow dogs. While in despair, she meets Peyton Leverett (Austin Butler), an aspiring film director, who offers her a studio apartment. Sharpay accepts but is disgusted to find out what it is. Marnie and Dylan are going to follow their dreams to go to college, at Halloweentown University, which is also known as Witch University. Marnie is offered a full scholarship for her good deeds and for her work in the previous years. Three years after the previous movie, Marnie Cromwell prepares to begin a new school year in her new home. She asks the Halloweentown Council to work toward openness between Halloweentown and the mortal world. She proposes to bring a group of Halloweentown students to her own high school in the mortal world. The Council is initially apprehensive about this, mostly due to the legend of the Knights of the Iron Dagger: a fanatical knighthood who wanted to destroy all things magical. The Halloweentown Witches' Council, however, agrees to accept the plan after Marnie mistakenly bets "all the Cromwell magic" that her plan will work. If she does not prove she is right by midnight on Halloween, then her entire family will lose their magical abilities.
