Martiño Rivas López (born 10 January 1985 in Vimianzo, A Coruña, Galicia, Spain), also known as Martín Rivas, is a Spanish actor. He is probably best known for his performance as Marcos Novoa Pazos in the Antena 3 series The Boarding School (Spanish: El internado) and for his role in The Blind Sunflowers (Los girasoles ciegos), which earned him a nomination for Goya Award for Best New Actor.

Biography

Il naît à Vimianzo, dans la région de la Galice. Il est le fils du poète, écrivain, et journaliste Manuel Rivas et de María Isabel López Mariño. Il a une sœur : Sol Rivas. Il est diplômé de l'école secondaire de Londres puis a étudié la communication audiovisuelles à l'Université de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en Espagne.
