Matthew Currie Holmes (born May 26, 1974) is a Canadian actor/producer/writer/director. As an actor, Currie Holmes has appeared in over forty film and television projects.

He played the lead character, Stick, on the acclaimed Canadian series Godiva's. Currie Holmes won the Leo award for Best Supporting Performance By A Male in a Dramatic Series in 2005, and was again nominated for the award in 2006. Currie Holmes was also a series regular on the hit Canadian television series Edgemont. His feature film credits include The Fog, Firewall, Jet Boy, and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End.

Currie Holmes produced and starred in the short film My Charlotte (2009), which was chosen as an Official Cinéfondation Selection'' at Cannes.

As a writer, Currie Holmes has written and story edited dozens of projects for producers and directors in both Hollywood and Canada. Most recently, he co-wrote the action/horror film Demonology with X-men, X2, and Watchmen scribe David Hayter, which as of December 2011, is in development.

Currie Holmes has recently joined forces with writer/director Tracy L. Morse to form The Blood Bros, a creative company dedicated to the art, honor and preservation of well-written American/Canadian horror. Together Matthew and Tracy have a slate of films in various stages of development. In 2012, they directed their first feature film, entitled P5Ych.

Currie Holmes currently resides in Burbank, California.

The film is narrated by Cayden, an average teenaged boy approaching the end of high school. During a football game, a rival player headbutts Cayden, causing the latter to become enraged and attack the player with superhuman strength. Cayden later hurts his girlfriend when the passion of making out causes him to unwillingly transform into a werewolf. The film opens with Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford) leaving his house, loving wife Beth (Virginia Madsen) and two children, to his job at Landrock Pacific Bank in downtown Seattle. The day goes smoothly until Jack is visited by a collection agency, claiming that he owes $95,000 in debts to their online gambling site. He trusts a colleague to take care of it (as he is convinced of some form of identity theft, which is later found out to be true and used to later set up Jack with a motive for robbing the bank) and goes out for dinner with colleague Harry Romano (Robert Forster) and potential employer, Bill Cox (Paul Bettany). After the meal, Harry leaves in a taxi and Jack gets in his car. Unexpectedly, Cox follows him into the back seat. Cox then goes on to tell Jack that his family is being held hostage at their home to ensure Jack's cooperation. He then points a gun to Jack's head and forces him to drive home.
