His sister Nilofer Amrohi is married to Tajdar Amrohi who inherited Kamalistan Studios along with his siblings from his illustrious father Kamal Amrohi.

Biography
He married Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman in 1985 and they had two sons, Azaan and Zahaan. Mazhar and Zeenat had also acted in a few films together in the 1980s. Mazhar was ill with a kidney infection and later died from the disease. Mazhar died in September 1998 of renal failure. Before his death, Zeenat filed for divorce. Prior to this marriage, he was married to Rubaina Mumtaz, a Mumbai socialite, niece of Dilip Kumar and a granddaughter of Fazal Nawaz Jung.His sister Nilofer Amrohi is married to Tajdar Amrohi who inherited Kamalistan Studios along with his siblings from his illustrious father Kamal Amrohi.

Unemployed and branded a trouble-maker, Jaikishan lives a poor lifestyle in a slum-area called Asha Colony, very near Andher's Lokhandwala Complex along with his sister, Seema; mom and dad. The film room briefly where Lady Electric shares with Bob her measurements. After being chased down another corridor and into an elevator where they both fall to their deaths Bob snaps out of his daydream at the last second. When he comes to, he finds his friends have lost the game in the same fashion. Later, when selecting another game to play on the "Outlaw BBS", they chose one called "Terminal Entry", however, this one is password protected. Thinking that the game was set up by members at MIT, Tom decides that he will crack the password and play it during a vacation planned up in the mountains for the weekend.

The film focuses on the caste and feudal system in Rajasthan. Ranjit Singh is the son of a peasant living in a village which is dominated by a rich landlord family. As a teenager studying in the village school, Ranjit is rebellious and defiant. He is bullied by the two sons of the landlord, who are of his own age.
