Le film raconte l'histoire de Luc, un architecte dans la trentaine en pleine ascension professionnelle, qui habite la région de Charlevoix, au Québec. Celui-ci vit le rêve : il est marié à une jolie entraîneuse sportive, il dispose d'un bon réseau d'amis et s'adonne à de nombreuses activités sportives (chasse, pêche, ski, hockey, golf). Rien ne semble pouvoir atteindre sa vie parfaitement lisse. À l'occasion d'un voyage à Toronto toutefois, Luc a une aventure avec une autre femme. Il la revoit une seconde fois alors que celle-ci s'arrange pour séjourner à Québec. Alors que Luc tombe amoureux de sa nouvelle conquête, sa femme, qui éprouve des problèmes de santé mentale, songe à s'enlever la vie.

Janeane, a conservative housewife from Iowa, is an undecided voter who wishes to find more information about the Republican Party politicians running for U.S. President in 2012. She attends the Republican Party primary in an effort to find a politician who can offer a solution to the problems she faces. Erik Stifler (John White) has a difficult time living up to his family name. He is Steve and Matt Stifler's cousin. He is perhaps the only Stifler about to graduate from high school as a virgin. The film opens with Erik feigning illness so that he can stay home and masturbate. Unfortunately, just as he is about to ejaculate, his parents and grandmother unexpectedly walk into the door and are hit with Erik's semen, after which his grandmother dies of a heart attack. Erik's dad later surmises that, as a Stifler, his son should be out having sex instead of masturbating. Erik's girlfriend of two years, Tracy (Jessy Schram), loves him, but is not ready for intercourse. Tracy decides to have sex, their first attempt goes horribly wrong, and she backs out of trying again.
