A young pizza delivery boy named Keno inadvertently encounters burglars on his route and tries to stop them. A despairing young widow (Crystal Bernard) who abandons her baby at pond-side among bulrushes and a travelin' man (John Terry) who's fighting to reclaim his own son (Graham Sack) are drawn together. Emilie Thompson (Carla Gugino) is forced to take charge of her nephew J.T. Dr. Joe Braden (Farrell) is a therapist living and working in Manhattan, who also gives advice on the radio. His wife Claire (Walker) has divorced him six months earlier, and he still has not progressed the emotional impact this has had on him.
