Natalia Marisa Oreiro Iglesias ([naˈtalja oˈɾejɾo]; born May 19, 1977) is a Latin Grammy-nominated Uruguayan singer, actress and fashion designer, who developed most of her career in Argentina. Oreiro began her career in telenovelas. Since 2008 she has switched to work primarily in films. Oreiro has worked on social awareness shows and events for organizations like Greenpeace and UNICEF, the latter of which designated her as ambassador for Argentina and Uruguay in September 2011. She has been included in Esquire magazine's "The Sexiest Woman Alive Atlas" list. In 2012, La Nación named her the queen of telenovelas.

Fille de Carlos Oreiro Poggio et de la peintre Mabel Iglesias Bourie, elle commence sa carrière de mannequin à l'âge de 12 ans, enregistrant près de 30 publicités et faisant partie du la troupe des paquitas de la chanteuse brésilienne Xuxa. À 16 ans, avec le consentement de ses parents, elle déménage à Buenos Aires, où elle commence sa carrière d'actrice dans des telenovelas. En 1998 elle joue le rôle principal dans le film Un argentino a Nueva York. Depuis la seconde moitié des années 1990 elle se consacre également à la musique pop, devenant notamment la première uruguayenne candidate à un Grammy.Sa carrière prend ensuite de l'importance en Argentine, grâce à des publicités à la télévision et des telenovelas à succès. The story starts with musician Ezequiel (Diego Peretti) having only a few days left to prepare the soundtrack of a movie in production. Diego Simonney (Grandinetti) is a lonely man living by the sea, once a famed film director, thence fallen into decadence and oblivion, having lost control of his movie and, subsequently, his life. Through flashbacks we're shown Simonney's crescent indifference towards the movie he is trying to make, with camera-shy, third-rate actors (Calandra and Stuart) and an even a worse script. He finds redemption in the love for Ana (Campo), an Uruguayan who used to be his student. But passion is extinguished, and obsession takes place as Simonney follows Ana around with his camera, stalking her and her newfound lover, a deputy. Simonney changes shapes, abandoning the film and being taken for dead (he is portrayed by Briski and Resta according to his mood and attitudes). Solitude overtakes him, and he exiles himself to a bar by the sea, retconning with the beginning of the story.

Cleopatra (Aleandro) is an aged school teacher who struggles to maintain her unemployed husband (Alterio), who suffers from depression and leads a resigned life.
