Oded Fehr (Hebrew: עודד פהר; born on November 23, 1970) is an Israeli film and television actor now based in the United States. He is known for his appearance as Ardeth Bay in the 1999 remake of The Mummy and its sequel The Mummy Returns, as well as Carlos Oliveira in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction and Resident Evil: Retribution, Faris al-Farik in Sleeper Cell, the demon Zankou in the TV series Charmed and Eli Cohn on the TV series V. He recently portrayed Eyal Lavin, a Mossad agent, on the TV series Covert Affairs, as well as Beau Bronn on the TV series Jane by Design and Mossad Deputy Director Ilan Bodnar on NCIS.

On the back streets of Chicago, two would-be car thieves walk past a jet black car (a fourth generation Chevrolet Nova), only to turn back a few seconds later to find a new red sports car (a Chevrolet Corvette Z06). As they climb inside they discover the ignition, the handles and every means of escape have instantly vanished, the windows go black around them and their screams are soon cut off. Driving out to the main street, the black car is demolished by a car flying down the road. The people of the second car are severely injured, but the authorities don't find any passengers in the black car and they have it impounded at a police garage. While there, the vehicle miraculously pieces itself together and kills one of the crewmen, Hector by ramming him into an elevator shaft.

Alice (Milla Jovovich) wakes up disoriented in a mansion. The gang goes to Egypt to surprise Velma, who has been restoring the famous Sphinx for the past six months with Prince Omar. However, the Mystery Machine runs out of water in the radiator. Scooby and Shaggy try to find water for the Mystery Machine, and find a lake with a water which turns out to be a mirage. The gang meets an Egyptian nomad Amahl Ali Akbar and his hawk Horus. With their help, the gang is able to get to the Sphinx and meets "Fear Facers" host Rock Rivers whose show was recently canceled because he faked some footage. He then tells them of the curse. Scooby smells a familiar smell and leads the gang to Velma. Velma is surprised and introduces Omar to her friends. Velma then shows an ancient necklace which she found with the tomb of Queen Cleopatra. Suddenly, a nasty grave robbing scientist and treasure hunter named Dr. Amelia Von Butch and her minions appear to loot the tomb.
