Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew (born 22 October 1983), primarily known as Plan B or Ben Drew, is an English rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, and film director. He first emerged as a hip hop artist, releasing his critically acclaimed debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words in 2006. His second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks (2010), was a soul record and went straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart. He has also collaborated with other artists such as Chase & Status, most notably on the 2009 top ten single "End Credits".

Drew has also had a successful film career as an actor, with roles in Adulthood (2008), Harry Brown (2009), 4.3.2.1 (2010), and The Sweeney (2012). In 2012, he released the film Ill Manors, which he wrote and directed, accompanied by a Plan B soundtrack album which became his second number one album.

Aaron, waiting for Ed, is given a letter by his old social worker, and is dismissive in opening it. Meanwhile, Ed is released from prison and meets up with Aaron, telling Ed that his phone has been taken but knows who has it.

The film is set in Hoxton, East London and follows a young couple, George and Sophie. The premise of the film involves the pair saving money to go on their first holiday together. The deposit is paid, and they have two weeks left to pay the outstanding balance of £2,000. Sophie has entrusted George with her holiday savings, and is keen to settle the debt with the travel agents. The only trouble is, unbeknown to Sophie, George is flat broke. Harry Brown (Michael Caine), an elderly man who was once a decorated senior NCO in the Royal Marines and a veteran of Northern Ireland, currently lives on a London council estate ruled by violent gangs and spends most of his time playing chess in the local pub with his best friend, Len Attwell (David Bradley). Drugs are dealt openly in the pub. When the hospital phones to tell him that his wife, Kath, is dying, Harry is too late to see her one last time because he is too scared to take the quicker underpass route, where a gang holds court.
