Rajeev Govinda Pillai (Malayalam: രാജീവ്‌ ഗോവിന്ദ പിള്ള) is an Indian film actor from Malayalam cinema. Rajeev rose to stardom with Celebrity Cricket League. His acting debut was in the movie City of God (2011).

He is a dentist by profession but stopped practicing dentistry to focus on his acting and cricket career. He is best known by his acting in City of God. He is currently shooting his first Hindi movie as hero Gurudakshina in Mumbai.

Saravanan (Vishal) is a person in Ooty who runs a business of gathering people for politicians. One day he met Maya (Hansika) and fell for her. However, Rajshekar (Santhanam) also falls in love with her. Saravanan convinced Rajshekar to not fall for Maya by talking about the expenses high class people require. Rajshekar is a police inspector. Due to several mishaps caused, he was fired and started working as a hotel doorman. He was shocked to find Saravanan and Maya going out together. He asked Saravanan how he made Maya to fall in love with him. As Saravanan finished his story it was revealed that it was Saravanan who indirectly caused those mishaps to Rajshekar. Rajshekar enraged hired Kumaran (Vaibhav), who is a specialist in breaking other's love. Kumaran then sends Andrea Jeremiah who shows an edited photo of her and Saravanan together and how a child mistook Saravanan for her father. This causes a conflict in the relationship of Saravanan and Maya. Due to love failure Saravanan consumed alcohol and was unconscious. Kumaran who was also at the bar helped Saravanan and dropped him at his house. Saravanan's mother, Thulasi (Tulasi) who was ashamed of Saravanan's behaviour send him to meet his father Aalavanthan (Prabhu) and his younger brother Shakti (Sathish) at Madurai.There they meet Alavanthan and rejoins him. They also come to know that Kumaran is also the son of Alavanthan's ex- lover. Alavanthan reveals to his sons that they have 3 aunts (Ramya Krishnan), (Aishwarya), (Kiran Rathod). Alavanthan wants his sons to marry the daughters of their aunts so that their family could reunite once and for all. At first Saravanan hesitates but when he finds Maya is also a daughter of his aunt he agrees to the plan. The village people mistook them as police posted to their village, which helps the trio to sneak into their aunts house. There their uncles help them to create affection to their daughters. Their aunts daughters also starts to reciprocate love to the trio. Their elder aunt (Ramya Krishnan) decides to participate in the MLA election in their provinces, but villan Pasupathy current MLA of the provinces and ex-servant of Alavanthan's family provokes her by saying that if he lose to her he will work at her home as servant but if she loses her daughter Maya will be married to his son. Saravanan then helps his aunt to win the elections. However a few days before the elections Saravanan's aunts find out that saravanan's father is their brother Alavanthan who was seen as the murderer of their father. their hatred towards Alavanthaan results in them getting Saravanan and his brothers caught in police and Alavanthaan is hurt by his sisters' harsh words at him. He suddenly got a heart attack and is admitted in the hosipital. As Saravanan and his brothers are stuck in jail, his aunt had lost many of the peoples hope for voting her due to Pasupathy's evil plans in causing misunderstandings. Then Sarvanan uses RDX, to stop Pasputhy's evil plans. Then when Pasaputhy tries to bribe people with money, Sarvanan and Kumaran cause some mishap and the tables turn giving Periya Poonu the edge. There Pasupathy comes with a mob and tries to kill the whole family and take Maya, but Sarvanan and Maya unite in a different location, and then fights Pasupathy and his son giving the victory. It was also revieled that Pasupathy killed Aalavanthan's father not Aalavanthan. There Aalavanthan and the whole family unite, and Maya weds Saravanan.

In a remote village in Kerala named Brahmamangalam, the people have a passion for cricket. From India winning their first Cricket World Cup in 1983, to present times, the story follows the father-son relationship of two generations. As a teenager Rameshan(Nivin Pauly) is passionate about cricket and performs well in his academics. His father (Joy Mathew) wants his son to become an Engineer one day. Madhavan Menon (Maddy) is a ruthless investigating officer working with the Mumbai Police. The film is set in Kannur, a veritable killing field for political rivals of different hues. The movie is about the journey of a Malayali youth Anwar (Prithviraj) into the clutches of anti-social elements. The protagonist has another hidden agenda in joining the terrorist outfit. The movie opens with the visuals of Coimbatore bomb blast and the introduction of a special team under Stalin Manimaran (Prakash Raj) who arrests Babu Sait (Lal), a local community leader as a suspect in the bomb blast case. Meanwhile, Anwar a Muslim youth is arrested while passing on with some Hawala money and is sent to jail with Babu Sait and his team. Anwar performs his Namaaz daily five times. He is also fascinated by the terrorist activities of Babu Sait. Babu Sait helps Anwar in getting a bail and lures him to his activities. Anwar is attracted towards Terror acts and even successfully terminates two local drug dealers. Soon he becomes the most trusted and obedient right hand of Babu Sait. Anwar succeeds in planting a bomb in the police Headquarters and is soon introduced to Basheer Bhai (Sampath Raj), who selects him to spearhead another big, but dangerous project of chain blasts. Their plans were to plant a series of chain blasts in Mumbai. Though Anwar goes on with their plans, he has a haunting flashback, which forms the twist in the story. Babu Sait Shows the pictures of the coimbatore blast, which diverts Anwar to his flashback. The Flashback goes like this: Anwar and his family is a family that lives in a rural area of Palakkad. Anwar, an NRI returns from America for his sister's wedding. There he meets his sister's best friend Ayesha (Mamta Mohandas), and falls for her. His family knows about this and proposes to her. She accepts. But when they go out for shopping to Coimbatore, Anwar goes out of the cloth shop for refreshing and a sudden blast happens, killing the whole family except him. Meanwhile, Ayesha is arrested & then Anwar goes out to Stalin for her bail. But he refuses and tell it could not be done owing to lack of proof. He then tells Stalin that he will assist in the discovery of the terrorists, which lead to the present part of the story. Both of them have a secret meeting about the bomb blasts planned by Babu Sait & Co. Stalin brings Ayesha so that they could meet after a long time. When Babu Sait's Men arrives, Stalin tells Anwar to act as if they were having a fight, and one of the Babu Sait's men shoot Stalin, hereby killing, thinking that Anwar was having a fight. But after that, Anwar was given the big responsibility of transporting the deadly terrorists to Mumbai, through a ship containing full of explosives & weapons. Anwar at first made them think that he was on their side, but soon he blasts the ship by firing on it and killing all of the terrorists. Babu Sait becomes furious, that Anwar cheated them. When Anwar says about his parents, their flashbacks, which Babu Sait commits suicide. Anwar then calls the phone of Stalin which is under the police custody. He tells that the mission is over. After that it is narrated that Stalin & his colleague got bravery awards but no one has recognised the near-death battle Anwar has played. The film ends when both Anwar & Ayesha are in a quiet place, living together in a small house. The end-credits rolls with the "Njan" song.
