He is known for his roles in daytime drama as Jake Martin in ABC's All My Children. In May 2013, Goldin joined the cast of the CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful. Goldin also hosts the HGTV series Spontaneous Construction, which premiered on the network on February 15, 2013.
Goldin began dating TV fashion personality Gretta Monahan in 2009. They have a son, Kai Rei Goldin, born in October 2010.

Goldin began dating actress Yasmine Bleeth in 1989. They became engaged in January 1995. Goldin and Bleeth ended their relationship later that year. Goldin was later engaged to actress and Playboy model Priscilla Taylor. In November 2001, Goldin married British television presenter Emma Ford. They divorced in 2002.Goldin began dating TV fashion personality Gretta Monahan in 2009. They have a son, Kai Rei Goldin, born in October 2010.

Megan Gordon (Rainbow Harvest) is a shy Goth girl who moves into a new neighborhood from Los Angeles with her recently widowed mother Susan (Karen Black). Shecky Moskowitz (Sandler) is a struggling comedian working on a cruise ship. Shecky gets his chance to be the ship's comedian when it is thought that the regular comedian, Dickie Diamond (LaRose), had fallen overboard and drowned. (Dickie actually locked himself in the men's room) Shecky is nervous about performing, but King Neptune (Zane) convinces him to go for the opportunity by telling Shecky about the power of laughter. Shecky's first performance is very unsuccessful as he is booed off the stage, he is especially heckled by the construction worker Dave (Thornton). However, after a lecture by Milton Berle, Shecky succeeds in making the audience laugh. At that point, the terrorists come onboard and want to kill Miss Australia. Shecky, remembering the advice about the power of laughter, saves her by promising to put the assassins in a film.

A meteorite crashes near Arborville, California. An elderly transient discovers, within the sphere, a massive slime mold-like substance (the Blob) that attaches itself to his hand. Three high school students, Brian, Meg and Paul, take him to a hospital. After Brian leaves, Paul witnesses the lower half of the transient melting from exposure to the Blob. As he calls for help, the Blob drops on top of him. Meg arrives to see Paul being devoured by the growing Blob. While she tries to free him, his arm dissolves off, Meg is thrown against a wall and knocked unconscious, and the Blob oozes out of the hospital.

One night, three aliens from the planet Taros-- a young woman named Robyn, a girl named Tavy, and a furry three-eyed, three-armed creature named Kirby-- stow away on a spaceship headed for Earth, and land near Aladdin, Wyoming. The next morning, the aliens befriend a rancher's son named Dirt while he's out riding fences on his motorcycle. Robyn shows off her bike-riding skills and the quartet go to visit Dirt's grandparents. After Kirby beats Grandpa at poker, the creature drinks a can of gasoline. Later, Kirby keeps feeding the goats even though Grandpa wants him to feed the chickens. Grandpa then shows Kirby how to shoot Coors cans with a gun while he complains about how much the world has changed. Dirt forms a relationship with Robyn, learning that her hair changes color depending on exposure to sunlight and that she's come from a moonbase and was supposed to go back to her home planet, rather than coming to Earth. Dirt tries to keep his new friends a secret from the rest of his family, but things get complicated when other aliens come looking for the missing trio, Grandpa shows Kirby to some old folks at the General Store, and a Senator arrives at the ranch for a barbecue.
