Rita Gam (born April 2, 1927) is an American film and television actress and documentary filmmaker. She was nominated for a Golden Globe and won the Silver Bear for Best Actress.

Biography

Gam's first husband was director Sidney Lumet. The marriage ended in divorce, and in 1956, she married publisher Thomas Guinzburg. This also ended in divorce.

She was a bridesmaid at the wedding of her close friend Grace Kelly to Prince Rainier in Monaco.

Gam is of French and Romanian ancestry.

Allied enemies kidnap Corporal John "Johnny" Leatherby, a young American soldier in West Berlin. Lt. Col.
