Robert Capron, Jr. (born July 9, 1998 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American teen actor who is best known for starring as Rowley Jefferson, Greg Heffley's best friend, in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. He started off with a role in Bride Wars and later had small parts in Hachiko: A Dog's Story and the Disney film The Sorcerer's Apprentice. His mother, Kaye Capron, played his character's mother in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Capron lives in Scituate, Rhode Island, and has also been billed as Robert B. Capron.

Quincy Johnson (Jerry Trainor) is a barely unemployed adult gamer who lives at home with his parents. Quincy plays video games under the username "Q", and is renowned in the gaming community for his many awards and world records. Much to Quincy's dismay, his parents decide to sell their house, meaning Quincy will need to find a new place of residence. Quincy decides to try to buy the house from them for $175,000. In AD 740, the mighty magician Merlin (James A. Stephens) has three apprentices. The first day of Greg Heffley's middle school ends negatively; he learns about the Cheese Touch which is a rotten piece of cheese on the basketball court which everyone avoids, discovers the ups and downs to the school, and his best friend Rowley Jefferson (Robert Capron) embarrasses them both.
