Scott Wentworth (Born 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American actor currently living and working primarily in Canada.

After starting his career in New York City, he began a long association with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in the 1985 production of The Glass Menagerie. He would later perform in a wide variety of roles at Stratford, such as Cliff in Cabaret, the title role in Macbeth, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Shylock in Merchant of Venice and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. He also directed Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2 in 2001.

He returned to New York in 1989 to appear in Welcome to the Club, and received a Tony nomination (Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical). As a director, he has worked at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, and the Hillberry Theatre in Detroit.

Wentworth has co-written musicals with his wife Marion Adler. Their first collaboration, Gunmetal Blues, has been performed at the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and the Colony Theatre in Burbank, California. Their most recent collaboration is Enter the Guardsman, based on the Ferenc Molnár play The Guardsman, and was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award (Best Musical) in 1997.

The film begins with footage from a news cameraman and reporter, who are covering a story about an immigrant man killing his wife and son before committing suicide. The son and wife turn into zombies and kill several medical personnel and police officers but leave one medic and a reporter bitten before being killed. The narrator, Debra, explains most of the footage was never broadcast, but was recorded by the cameraman.

After Trans Regional Airlines is hit by a series of mysterious aircraft crashes, National Transportation Safety Board safety expert Renee Brennan (Jaclyn Smith) calls for the grounding of the airline's aircraft, despite opposition from the CEO of the airline, Richard Pierce (Chad Everett). Her plans are thwarted by current boyfriend Mark Ettinger (Bruce Boxleitner), a Federal Aviation Administration inspector who repeatedly countermands her orders. The story begins with Hannah, a young Jewish teen, as she is completing her senior year of high school.
