Sybil Danning (born Sybille Johanna Danninger; May 24, 1952) is an Austrian actress and model. She is best known for her frequent appearances in B movies during the 1970s and 1980s.
Born in Wels, Austria, Danning spent most of her childhood on military bases and travelling with her family around the world. After their return to Austria, she landed a job as a dental hygienist to support her family following her parents divorce. At the age of sixteen, Danning left her home and relocated to Salzburg, where she enrolled at a school of cosmetology. Working as a cosmetician, she soon got offered fashion shows and photo layouts. She made her screen debut in the German comedy, Komm nur, mein liebstes Vögelein (1968), followed by the role of Kriemhild in the erotic action film, The Long Swift Sword of Siegfried (1971). She continued receiving small parts in films mostly based on her sex symbol image.
In 1978, Danning moved to Hollywood to further her career in American films. Her first film role was in Roger Corman's science fiction cult classic, Battle Beyond the Stars (1980), which established her as a B movie actress. She appeared in a number of films during the 1980s such as Chained Heat (1983), Hercules (1983), Malibu Express (1985), Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf (1985) and Reform School Girls (1986). In 1990, her acting career was delayed after having an accident while rehearsing a film stunt. Suffering from a spinal disc herniation, Danning went on a hiatus from the film industry.

N'ayant pas été retenue, et de peu, pour les rôles de James Bond Girl dans « Octopussy » et de « Sheena, reine de la jungle », Sybil Danning établit sa propre maison de production, "Sybil Danning Aventure Video", spécialisée dans les productions à tout petit budget de science-fiction, et de film d'exploitation.
Elle se retire vers la fin des années 1980 et ne fera qu'un très bref retour en 2006.

Sybil Danning passe sa jeunesse entre les États-Unis et l'Autriche. Après avoir essayé de devenir assistante médicale puis esthéticienne à Salzbourg, elle est remarquée par des photographes de mode qui lui proposent de poser pour des magazines féminins et de beauté. Passionnée pour cette nouvelle carrière, la sculpturale Autrichienne décide de percer au cinéma. Fictional television station WIDB-TV (channel 8) experiences problems with its late-night airing of science-fiction classic Amazon Women on the Moon, a 1950s B movie in which Queen Lara (Sybil Danning) and Captain Nelson (Steve Forrest) battle exploding volcanoes and man-eating spiders on the moon. Waiting for the film to resume, an unseen viewer begins channel surfing—simulated by bursts of white noise—through late night cable, with the various segments and sketches of the film representing the programming found on different channels. The viewer intermittently returns to channel 8, where Amazon Women continues to resume airing before faltering once more.

The film is a satire of the women in prison film genre and deliberately implements many of the tropes commonly found in such films. Such scenes include nude shower scenes, fight scenes, and a suggested romantic relationship between one of the inmates and an administrator. The overall plot involves a new influx of girls coming to the school. They are immediately confronted with Charlie Chambliss (Williams) who is the de facto leader of the school and has an exceedingly close relationship with the head of the ward, Edna (Ast). Charlie and her circle are given special privileges by Edna and it is suggested that Charlie and Edna enjoy a more intimate relationship. Charlie runs a secret society of girls who are loyal to her and to whom she offers protection. The two main new girls break several of Edna's rules and are punished decisively for their infractions.

A group of gorgeous American models take a long trip to South America, to participate in a photo session on a location deep in the jungle, apparently somewhere around Peruvian tropical forest. While flying over a cocaine plantation, their plane is shot down by Cesar, a dangerous drug lord, and the girls are taken prisoner by his army. Cesar suspects that an undercover police officer is among the models. In fact, one of the women actually is a special agent. Cesar orders his mercenaries to drag the girls into his dungeon for interrogation. After being tortured by Angel, Cesar’s sister, and cruelly gang-raped by all soldiers, the models are imprisoned in an underground cell to await Cesar's decision whether to execute them or keep them as slaves for his soldier’s “entertainment.” With the help of an old female servant, the models manage to escape from the basement jail and get some guns. As they make their way toward freedom, they run into a high-level Mafia meeting there in Cesar’s manor. A final gunfight breaks out as the women fight to take revenge and escape alive.

Like in the books Malko is a nobleman whose family bequeathed him a huge castle and an aristocratic appearance but no sufficient means to sustain the inherited premises or to keep up the appropriate life style. This time it is the castle's roof that requires work and forces Malko to accept another CIA mission. The secret service is worried about rumours which endanger the US-American reputation. It was brought to the CIA's notice that a former collaborator named Enrique Chacon (Raimund Harmstorff) allegedly went rogue in San Salvador. Malko is supposed to investigate Chacon over the atrocities of death squads and then do whatever seems fit against the background of his findings. So he travels to San Salvador and goes about it. Soon he becomes a witness to the crimes of the death squads and eventually he has to realise how Chacon is indeed the driving force for all that. That leaves him no other choice than to render Chacon harmless for good before he can return to his castle and his fiancée, Countess Alexandra (Sybill Danning).
