Tom Mardirosian (born December 14, 1947) is an American actor. He is known for playing Agamemnon Busmalis in the HBO show Oz and Agt. Kristos Koutris in the HBO show The Wire.

Mardirosian was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, the son of Afro (née Karahos) and Matthew Mardirosian. In the army, he was a member of a Special Forces troop, where he first started developing his love for acting. After his army service he appeared in numerous productions in Buffalo, and was taught acting at The Studio ARENA Theatre School. He appeared on Broadway at the Cort Theatre in The Magic Show as Goldfarb.

An Armenian-American, Mardirosian is strongly involved with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) within New York City. His brother is the actor and writer Oliver Clark.

The film begins as Marcus (Eddie Murphy) enters Chantress, the company that he works for as an advertisement executive. It is quickly established that he is quite the ladies' man, as he tells his assistant to send flowers to nine different women, with cards reading "only thinking of you." When he enters his office, Nelson (Geoffrey Holder), one of the creative minds also in Marcus' department, shows Marcus a re-cut he's done of one of the ads they've been working on. Marcus tells Nelson, who's very creative but also very risqué and overtly sexual with his style, that he must re-edit the ad, as some of the material may be offensive to women and may also cause problems with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. Nelson reluctantly agrees, then leaves.

When Sara Dobbs (Robertson), the teenage daughter of a wealthy New York City family returns home while feeling sick, nobody suspects a thing. At home, her health deteriorates quickly, resulting in a painful death on the streets before her Manhattan home. Nora and her new colleague Dr. Jake Prescott (Nordling)—whom she becomes romantically involved with—start a race against the clock to locate and treat all the people who might be infected, while trying to prevent the city from panicking. In the end, Nora is successful in finding everyone who is infected, and treats most of them successfully. Within a week, a pandemic is ended after 22 deaths.
