Toni Kalem (born August 29, 1951) is an American actress, screenwriter and director. Kalem is best known for her portrayal of Angie Bonpensiero on the HBO series, The Sopranos.
Kalem grew up in Springfield Township, Union County, New Jersey.
Kalem has appeared in several films such as Double Jeopardy, Private Benjamin, Sister Act, The Wanderers, Eyes of the Beholder, Silent Rage and The Boy Who Drank Too Much. Her television credits include guest appearances on Starsky and Hutch, MacGyver, Another World and Police Woman. During the sixth season of The Sopranos, Kalem was elevated from guest star to series regular for her character Angie Bonpensiero, the widow of Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero who runs a body shop in partnership with Tony Soprano.
In 1999, Kalem wrote and directed the film A Slipping Down Life. In 2004, she wrote the fifty-sixth episode for The Sopranos called "All Happy Families...".

The film begins with Emil Slovak (Karel Roden) and Oleg Razgul (Oleg Taktarov) arriving in America. They were former criminals and after getting out of prison have come to the U.S. to claim their part of a bank heist in Russia (or somewhere in Czech Republic). Within minutes of arriving, Oleg steals a video camera. They go to the run down apartment of their old partner and demand their share. He doesn't have it so Emil stabs him and his wife to death, as Oleg tapes it with the camera. The couple's friend, Czech immigrant Daphne Handlova (Vera Farmiga), covertly witnesses the murders from the bathroom, but she escapes before they can get her too. To hide the crime, Emil burns down the apartment.

Red's Desert Diner Oasis, a dive in the middle of nowhere, becomes the focal point of three separate storylines. The film opens in 1968 at St. Anne's Academy, a California Roman Catholic school, where a young girl named Deloris Wilson is scolded by Sister Immaculata (Lois de Banzie) for wisecracking and disobedience. The setting then changes to the present day, where Deloris Van Cartier is a lounge singer in a 1960s-themed act called The Ronelles (a parody of The Ronettes), who sing at The Moonlite Lounge of the Nevada Club in Reno, Nevada, run by her boyfriend, the mobster Vince LaRocca. After Deloris walks in on Vince having his chauffeur Ernie executed for betrayal, Vince orders his two henchmen Joey and Willy to kill her as well. Deloris flees Vince's casino to the local police station where Lieutenant Eddie Souther suggests she testify against Vince if he can be arrested and tried, but for now, she should go into witness protection until the time comes.

Three black revolutionaries gun down two New York City police officers. In a small Texas town, a mentally ill John Kirby (Brian Libby) goes insane and kills two members of a family he was staying with.
