Manbei Kohayagawa (Ganjirō Nakamura) is the head of a small sake brewery company at Kyoto, with two daughters and a widowed daughter-in-law. The story concerns a psychiatrist, Dr. Allen Barnes (Stevens), who obtains a mysterious ancient tribal mask.
