Three years after the previous film, while trying to lead a normal life with girlfriend Sarah Ross (Mary-Louise Parker), Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) is approached by Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich), who claims people are still after them, but Frank dismisses him. After appealing a second time, Marvin drives off, and his car explodes. Although Frank does not believe Marvin is dead, Sarah convinces him to go to Marvin's funeral where he delivers a teary-eyed eulogy. After the funeral, a group of government agents approach Frank and take him to be interrogated at a Yankee White Facility. During the interrogation, Jack Horton (Neal McDonough) appears with an armed SWAT team, kills most of the facility's personnel, and tells Frank that he will torture Sarah until he gets information out of Frank. Frank escapes from the room, evades Horton's assassins, and with the sudden timely help of Marvin, who turns out to be alive, goes on the run with Sarah. Marvin explains that he and Frank are being hunted because they were listed as participants in a Clandestine operation codenamed Nightshade, conducted during the Cold War to smuggle a nuclear weapon into Russia piece by piece. Horton has convinced world agencies that Frank and his crew are terrorists and must be stopped. Victoria (Helen Mirren) calls, telling Frank she has been contracted by MI6 to kill the three of them. Meanwhile, top contract killer Han Cho-Bai (Lee Byung-hun), whom Horton knows is seeking revenge on Frank, is also hired.

In 1980, an annual gathering of teams of idiosyncratic nerds compete in a nondescript California hotel to see which of their computer programs can best the others at computer chess. Bad haircuts, dorky shirts, “birth control glasses”, and other social impedimenta are ubiquitous. Bull sessions on the dystopian possibilities of artificial intelligence are pursued. The Pentagon's interest in the goings-on is intimated. The only female geek (Robin Schwartz) in attendance is repeatedly hailed and “welcomed” by the MC.

Seeking to keep calm in the town, Nolan and O'Shea organize a party at the local pub, intending to keep the island's residents safe but unaware of the danger. Initially hesitant to join in a celebration when no good reason can be offered, the people enthusiastically agree when Brian Maher (David Pearse), the pub owner, offers free drinks. O'Shea volunteers to stay sober so that he can coordinate the towns defenses, and everyone else becomes drunk.

Arjun takes Anjali back to college. Arjun goes back home. Bhavani & his henchmen came to Bhavani’s safehouse. Anjali shows up. Byreddy realizes that Bhavani paid Anjali to enter Arjun’s life, so they can separate Arjun from Hari. If they separate Arjun from Hari, then they can kill Hari & Lakshman. Anjali calls Arjun’s phone. Anjali needs to see Arjun. Arjun’s about to leave, but Hari asks Arjun to marry Riya. Hari realizes that Arjun already has a lover, but Hari has no problem with it. Lakshman tells them that Anjali’s actually working for Bhavani. Bala wanted Anjali to go onto the beach, so Arjun can see Anjali. Although Bala wanted Chandu to drive towards Hari, Bala wanted Anjali & Chandu to crash into each other accidentally. When Anjali came to Holi Festival, Arjun told security that they didn’t need to check Anjali’s car but Bhavani was hiding inside Anjali’s trunk & that’s how Bhavani sneaked into Holi Festival. Although Bala pointed Gun at Anjali, Bala wasn’t going to shoot Anjali. Anjali pretended to love Arjun. Hari asks Arjun to stop loving Anjali. Arjun & his friend named Joseph go to Anjali’s location. Bala & his henchmen take Anjali back to their safehouse. Bhavani didn’t expect Anjali to call Arjun again. Anjali truly loves Arjun. For now, Bhavani doesn’t want Anjali to know why they want to kill Hari. Riya loves Arjun. When Anjali goes to Hari’s business, Anjali tries to explain to Arjun but Arjun & Riya still believe that Anjali’s a bad woman. Brady (Ross Lynch) and McKenzie "Mack" (Maia Mitchell), are surfing together at a beach near McKenzie's grandfather's hut. Mack oversees her grandfather and Brady watching their favorite film, where bikers and surfers battle for which gang gets the privilege to hang out at Big Momma's, a local diner and hangout. Brady later learns that Mack made a promise to her aunt that after her mother died she would attend a private school and they were to leave the next day. Mack asserts that although going is her choice, she feels it is what she has to do, since it's what her mom would want. She sadly tells Brady they will have to break up since they will be too far away to maintain their relationship.
