Alex and Rosie have been best friends for almost as long as they can remember. After depicting their time together as children, the movie jumps to Rosie making a speech at what appears to be a wedding, while staring at Alex, implying it may be his wedding but not hers. The movie switches to 12 years earlier, where Rosie is upset because of getting drunk during her 18th birthday. Alex comes over to discuss the previous night's events but pauses when Rosie tells him how she wished it never happened. The pair later go to the beach together to attend a party where 'the fittest guy in [their]grade' asks Rosie to the school dance, which she rejects saying she is going with Alex. Alex later tells her that an attractive and 'out of his league' girl named Bethany wants to go with him. After a fight between the two, Alex and Bethany go to the dance along with Greg and Rosie. After some dancing, Bethany and Alex share a passionate kiss and Greg and Rosie get a private room. The two then have sex but due to Greg's inexperience, the condom comes off and gets stuck inside Rosie. She immediately calls Alex who gets her to a hospital then takes her home.

Based on a true story, the film depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign. The film takes place during the Egyptian protests in 2013. An archaeological team discover a vast pyramid buried under the Egyptian desert; a pyramid that has three sides and not four like the pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Using satellite technology they determine the pyramid to be 600 feet (180 m) deep. A tunnel that leads into the apex of the pyramid is discovered and upon opening, releases toxic air which poisons a worker. Shortly afterwards the team is ordered to leave the site because of the uprising in Giza. The team, composed of father and daughter Miles and Nora Holden, argue over leaving the dig site because they are uncertain of when they can return. Eventually they agree on sending in a remote controlled robot to survey the first few rooms and document the pyramid. Shorty, the robot, enters the pyramid and after examining a small portion of the structure is attacked by an unknown creature and goes offline.

Zohar (Dana Ivgy) and Daffi (Nelly Tagar) are two soldiers trying to serve out their mandatory service with the IDF. On their way back to base after the weekend Daffi bumps into a new girl Tehila and, believing that she is her replacement, takes her under her wing. Daffi and Zohar work menial jobs with Daffi being forced to shred paper. After Daffi trains the new girl she goes to her supervisor Rama and explains that after writing letters to everyone she could trying to get a new position in Tel Aviv they have finally sent a replacement. However Tehila is not a replacement at all but has snuck onto the base to see a boy she slept with and fell in love with. After he rejects her she slits her wrists and crawls into bed where she is discovered by the other girls in the morning. Daffi is crushed by her death realizing that she will not be placed after all. However when she complains to personnel the officer in charge tells her she got to go the city by applying to be an officer. Daffi then gets a recommendation from a boy Zohar has a crush on and Rama and is transferred away. She and Zohar part on bad terms.
