Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is an American motion picture distribution division owned by The Walt Disney Company.

Established in 1953 as Buena Vista Distribution Company, the unit handles distribution, marketing and promotion for films produced by the Walt Disney Studios; including Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, DisneyToon Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, UTV Motion Pictures, Disneynature and Touchstone Pictures.

The division took on its current name in 2007, which before that had been Buena Vista Pictures Distribution since 1986.

Les manchots empereurs vivent en colonie en Antarctique. Au milieu de leurs congénères, chaque couple de manchots lutte contre les conditions extrêmes pour perpétuer l'espèce et protéger leur petit des nombreux obstacles et dangers qui les guettent. Outre le grand froid, le vent et les tempêtes, ils affrontent des prédateurs tels que le léopard de mer et le pétrel géant. Les parents alternent entre protection de l'œuf puis du petit dans l'intérieur des terres (plus stable et protégé que la banquise) et pêche sur le littoral. Des kilomètres de marche sont alors nécessaires pour utiliser les avantages de ces deux territoires alors que le manchot, bien plus à l'aise dans l'eau, est incapable de voler et se déplace avec difficulté sur le continent.

When Annie Clarke's husband John dies from leukaemia at an early age, her close friend Chris Harper, anxious to purchase a comfortable sofa for the visitors' lounge in the hospital where he was treated, hits upon the idea of printing a calendar featuring some of the members of the Knapely branch of the Women's Institute discreetly posing nude while engaged in traditional WI activities, such as baking and knitting, in order to raise funds. Scott Calvin is a divorced 38-year-old advertising executive, who is also a father to his son Charlie. Charlie's mother, Laura, is now married to psychiatrist Neil Miller. After confronting a man on the roof, who inadvertently falls off when Scott startles him, then vanishes leaving his Santa Claus outfit behind, they discover eight reindeer on the roof and Charlie convinces Scott to put on the suit and finish Santa's work for him. As the morning comes, the reindeer return to the North Pole to Santa's Workshop, where the head elf Bernard explains that, due to a clausical contract written on a card Scott found on Santa, in putting on the suit and entering the sleigh he has accepted the "Santa Clause" and has agreed to the responsibilities of that position. He tells a skeptical Scott that he has eleven months to get his affairs in order before reporting to the workshop at Thanksgiving permanently.
