Synopsis
Hage, le Saint-Esprit, vit depuis plus de 2 000 ans sous une forme humaine et vend de la dévotion. Le 24 décembre, il rentre chez lui dîner avec M Holacek, sa gouvernante, lorsqu'on frappe. À la porte se trouve Christl, Jésus-Christ, qui informe Hage que Papa Dieu prévoit l'Apocalypse pour le 31 décembre. Mais Hage a la tête dans la préparation de sa comédie musicale Holy Spirit Megastar qui doit être créée à l'occasion de la Saint-Sylvestre dans la boîte de nuit "Beverly Hills" de son ami Friedl. Bien qu'ils soient membres de la Trinité, ils ne peuvent pas poser leur veto, cependant Hage tient à montrer à Christl comment la vie est belle. Il lui fait rencontrer Mona, l'actrice principale de la comédie. À la fin de la nuit, Christl, en ramenant Hage chez lui, renverse Mona. Hage pense d'abord à faire disparaître le corps puis se souvient que, selon la Bible, Christl a ressuscité Lazare.Actors

"Road trip!" Four childhood friends, Will, Brian, Corey, and Matt, have been saying that since they were kids their dream is to surf, skate, and snowboard across California. After graduating from junior college, it is now their time and nothing can stop them — except money — so they decide to put their education to work. Through their jobs of life-guarding kiddie pools and working at Turkish restaurants they manage to save $847.53, more than enough to cross California in their Joyota, a reconstructed jeep with a rebuilt Toyota engine. Never having so much freedom in their lives, they decide to go to Mexico where they surf the fierce and unpredictable waves of Larosarita. Unexpectedly, Corey receives a phone call and is told of the death of his grandfather, "Grandpa G." His stepdad Frank tells him that his grandpa left him a bunch of money and his car, so Corey has to travel up to Yakima, Washington to get it. The friends, all being very close to Grandpa G., decide they will all go, counting on the fact that once they get there, they'll have more than enough money to get back.

The film begins with Michèle's first journal entry, "I am 20 years old, and I have ruined my life!" This is just one of the many journal entry titles that are flashed before every particular scene in the film. Michèle had just recently broken up with her boyfriend so she meets up with some of her friends at a café. It is there that she meets the charming veterinarian François. Though Michèle has a promising modeling career, she feels that something, or someone, is missing in her life. François quickly fills this void, and Michèle feels partially whole. She first claims that she is Catholic but is dissatisfied with the results of praying and worshipping. By recommendation, she begins to follow Buddhism through meditation and use of elaborate costume jewelry. Eventually, she discovers that François is Jewish; however, he does not practice his faith. Throughout the film, she immerses herself in Judaism, following traditions such as the Sabbath. François breaks up with her by telling her "your touch sickens me", after accusing her of lying. He then engages in several other affairs but fails to ever marry. She attempts to date a few men but does not create any true connections. Finally, at a wedding of their friend Valérie, Francois has broken up with yet another woman and claims to desire her. The movie ends with the famous line, "...to be continued" leaving viewers curious about their future.

The film is set in Jennings County, Indiana in 1863. Set 10 years after Return of the Living Dead 3, the film starts out with Charles Garrison (Peter Coyote) traveling to Chernobyl to collect the last 6 canisters of Trioxin 5. Two Russian sellers take him to an empty power station which contains the Trioxin. One of the Russians get Trioxin on his hands, turning him into a zombie. Upon hearing screams, Garrison runs to see the zombie eating the other Russian partner. Garrison promptly shoots the zombie in the head.
