7 Assassins (simplified Chinese: 光辉岁月; traditional Chinese: 光輝歲月) is a 2013 Chinese-Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Hung Yan-yan and starring an ensemble cast. Producer and star Eric Tsang states this film pays tribute to the Golden Generation of the movie industry.

Synopsis

Boss Cat (Eric Tsang) is a warrior who had participated in the Boxer Rebellion. Cat is responsible for guarding Huang Jin Xia town, which have gathered many revolutionaries around China. There, they do not discuss about revolution nor care about politics and lead peaceful lives there. Sai-lim (Gigi Leung), a woman who was rescued by Cat, is oblivious that years ago, Cat not only rescued her and her child, he also rescued her heart.

The Lucky Stars go on an island vacation and discover a nympho ghost in a castle near their cabin. Four policewomen come to investigate and the boys try to put the moves on them. After many failed attempts, one of the policewomen, Lai Ti, is possessed by a male ghost that is residing in the castle. The gang take her back to Hong Kong where they learn that the ghost wants revenge for his death. The gang are more than willing to oblige if the ghost helps them cheat in gambling. This all leads to the inevitable showdown where Kidstuff uses his kung fu skills to fight the ghost's killers.

Every 18 years, the martial artists' community hold a martial arts contest to elect a new leader.
