A Man Called Dagger (1968) is a low-budget spy film that was the first collaboration between director Richard Rush, cinematographer László Kovács and stuntman Gary Warner Kent (who also did the film's special effects).
It was filmed in 1966 by Lew Horwitz's Global Screen Associates (GSA) under the title Why Spy? The film was originally intended to have been released by Mike Ripps' Cinema Distributors of America (CDA) in September 1966. When GSA and CDA's partnership collapsed, the film was picked up by MGM and released a year later.
Synopsis
Secret agents Dick Dagger and Harper Davis are on the trail of former SS Colonel Rudolph Koffman, who is using a meat-packing plant as his secret lair.Actors

British and Soviet ballistic-missile submarines mysteriously disappear. James Bond—MI6 agent 007—is summoned to investigate. On the way he escapes an ambush by Soviet agents in Austria, killing one during a downhill ski chase, and escaping via a Union Flag parachute. Bond learns that the plans for a highly advanced submarine tracking system are on the market in Egypt. There, he encounters Major Anya Amasova—KGB agent Triple X—his rival for the plans. They travel across Egypt together, tracking the microfilm plans, meeting Jaws—a tall assassin with steel teeth—along the way. Bond and Amasova later team up through a truce agreed by their respective superiors and identify the person responsible for the thefts as the shipping tycoon, scientist, and anarchist Karl Stromberg.

A Drax Industries Moonraker space shuttle on loan to the United Kingdom is hijacked in mid-air and MI6 operative, James Bond, agent 007, is assigned to investigate. À Istanbul, le playboy de renommée internationale Tony Mecenas, propriétaire d'une boîte de nuit, est contacté par la séduisante Kenny, agente du FBI, pour qu'il l'aide à retrouver un savant en énergie atomique séquestré quelque part dans la ville. Le scientifique a été enlevé par une organisation qui réclamait une rançon d'un million de dollars et, lors de l'échange, il est apparu trop tard qu'un imposteur a été restitué à sa place. On propose donc à Tony, qui connaît Istanbul comme sa poche, de délivrer le savant et, en contrepartie, de s'approprier l'argent de la rançon s'il parvient à le substituer à l'organisation. Tony se lance dans l'aventure avec Kenny. À l'issue de mille et une péripéties, où Kenny aura également été enlevée, Tony finit par tout récupérer : la belle Américaine, le savant et les dollars. Mais, après avoir confié le scientifique aux bons soins du FBI, il garde pour lui sa chère Kenny et le joli magot.

During World War II the British army is attempting to retrieve an Enigma machine from Germany. Having failed in previous attempts they decide to send four men undercover to the factory that makes the devices, deep in Berlin. In China soldiers have prepared to shoot Argoman, but he hypnotized them and they killed each other. Argoman then landed in USSR where he get his assignment. His hirers thought Chinese would kill him after he accomplishes destroying nuclear weapon mission, then there would be no need to pay him.
