Synopsis
L'Île d'Alcatraz est une prison à sécurité maximum construite à l'épreuve des évasions. Clarence Carnes est le détenu qui a passé le plus grand nombre d'années à l'Île d'Alcatraz. Au cours de 18 ans en prison Clarence a fait partie de deux tentatives d'évasions audacieuses: une fusillade sanglante en 1946 et une évasion en 1953 qui a causé la fermeture de la prison. Mis en liberté conditionnelle en 1973, Carnes a raconté la véritable histoire de sa vie en prison, dans un livre puis, il a servi de conseiller technique pour ce film choc.Actors

Danny Di Pace (Stanley Kristien), Arthur Reardon (John Davis Chandler) and Anthony "Batman" Aposto (Neil Nephew) are members of a street gang named the Thunderbirds in New York City in East Harlem. The film opens with professional assassin Jeff Heston (Charles Bronson) and mistress Vanessa (Jill Ireland) pursued mercilessly while holidaying in the Virgin Islands. Jeff is shot and left for dead, while Vanessa runs off with his shooter and former business associate Coogan. Professional football player Terry Brogan (Jeff Bridges) is released by his team, the (fictitious) Los Angeles Outlaws.
