Synopsis
Alex Meyer, metteur en scène de comédies musicales connaît un passage à vide sentimental et artistique. Lorsqu'il se sent capable de « revenir » après trois ans d'inactivité, son producteur ne croit plus en lui. Aidé de Mathieu, un jeune compositeur surdoué, il tente de monter sa prochaine comédie musicale sans moyens, en faisant passer des castings dans un entrepôt prêté par un ami.Actors

Emma and Marc, two young lovers, move into a house which has been uninhabited for thirty years. What they don't know is that in 1979, in a cave under the house, there was a gay disco, which burned down when a foam machine short-circuited, and five bodies were never found. Today, the house is haunted by five gay ghosts. However, only Marc is able to see them, and his visions drive Emma away. A long-running live radio show is in danger of being canceled by new owners of the company that holds both radio station "WLT" and the theater where the show is broadcast. The film takes place on the night of the show's last performance. The show has two visitors: an angel calling herself Asphodel (Virginia Madsen) comes to comfort the people who work on the show and to escort one of them to the afterlife, while "the Axeman" (Tommy Lee Jones), a representative of the new owners, arrives to judge whether the show should be canceled. He makes it clear that the show is not what he considers modern popular programming, and though he too is escorted by the angel, the show is shut down anyway. In an epilogue at the end of the film the former cast members are reunited at Mickey's Diner. Their conversation pauses as they are joined by Asphodel.

Muskaan (Kajol) is an orphan girl living on a farm run by her overly-protective older brother, Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) and their 'Chachu' (Dharmendra). Muskaan's childhood friend, Ujaala (Anjala Zaveri), has been carrying a torch for the brooding Vishal since childhood, but he won't give her the time of day. Later on Muskaan decides she wants to go to university in Mumbai and has to persuade her brother to let her go. Once in the big city, Suraj (Salman Khan), an underachieving student, who does not get along with his stepmother and is estranged from his father, falls in love with Muskaan. After a few attempts at messing with Muskaan and trying to get her attention, Suraj finally succeeds and Muskaan falls in love with him. One day, when Vishal comes to visit Muskaan, he is mistakenly considered her boyfriend by Suraj and his group of friends. They consequently try to fight Vishal but instead get beat up. Vishal does not like Suraj because his terms and conditions of his future brother-in-law are very strenuous physically and he thinks Suraj is neither competent nor a man to be taken seriously. And he decides to bring Muskaan back to the farm sensing Suraj's bad influence on her studies. Suraj pursues her and starts working on the farm as a stable boy after a chance meeting with 'Chachu' in which he saves Chachu's life. Vishal decides to give Suraj another chance and puts him to the test; however, he is rejected. Vishal wants Muskaan to marry the brother of Thakur Vijay Singh (Nirmal Pandey), not knowing that Thakur Vijay Singh is doing this to merely extract vengeance against the Thakur family for a previous humiliation his own family received. So Suraj must now prevent this from happening and he must also be able to win Vishal's heart if he is really interested in marrying Muskaan.

Dans un petit village, entre Rome et Naples, les Alliés sont sur le point de faire leur entrée triomphale. Mario Venicio, maire nommé par les fascistes, pense à la libération et juge plus prudent de confier sa difficile place à son ami d'enfance Attilio Capellaro, antifasciste notoire dont le fils est fiancé à sa fille Aurora. D'abord réticent, Attilio finit par se laisser convaincre. Malgré tout, il semble que les Alliés soient encore bien loin et Crippa, le représentant du Fascio, envoie en avant le fils de Cappellaro (qui est dans la vraie vie le fils de l'acteur français) et fait savoir qu'il a convoqué une bande de chemises noires pour rétablir l'ordre. Cappellaro fait en sorte que son fils reste dans le village en le cachant dans la cave, mais pendant la nuit Crippa est assassiné.
