Synopsis
Kengo vit dans le quartier coréen de Los Angeles avec sa mère Evelyn. Il partage sa vie entre son travail peu motivant dans une boutique de photocopies et sa relation avec sa petite amie Sandra. Sa mère lui a répété pendant toute son enfance qu'il était le fils de Dieu. Il finit par apprendre que c'est un gynécologue qui l'a mise enceinte, avant de s'enfuir. L'homme a un signe distinctif: il a une oreille mutilée. Lorsque Kengo croise un jour un homme ayant cette particularité, il se met à le suivre à travers la ville.Actors

The film opens in 1950, five years after the capture of Puyi by the Red Army when the Soviet Union entered the Pacific War in 1945 and his having been kept in their custody. The film is split into three main segments spanning thirty years. The film is an autobiographical account of Tony Ayres' life at age eight, however the names have been changed. Baby is the tragic story of an Asian-American youth trapped in the seedy, dead-end world of hostess bars, pool halls and drug dens that characterize East Los Angeles gang life in the 1980s.
