Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia (French: Astérix & Obélix: Au service de Sa Majesté; translated as Asterix & Obelix: On Her Majesty's Service) is the fourth film adaptation of the adventures of Astérix after Asterix & Obelix vs Caesar, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra and Asterix at the Olympic Games, directed by Laurent Tirard. The film is adapted into 3D and had its World Premiere in September 2012. It is a live-action film from Fidélité Films and is based on Asterix in Britain and Asterix and the Normans.

Synopsis

Julius Caesar lands in Britain, where a small village still holds out bravely against the Roman legions. But the situation becomes critical and the villagers have not got long to live; that's when Jolitorax, one of the villagers seeks volunteers to go seek help from his second-cousin Asterix the Gaul and bring back a barrel of "magic potion" from the Breton village of the indomitable heroes.

1977. Cette dernière, surnommée « la potiche » par sa propre fille, supporte sans broncher le mauvais caractère, les vexations et les infidélités de son mari, notamment la relation qu’il entretient avec sa secrétaire, Nadège (Karin Viard). Pujol est excédé par le climat social exécrable qui règne dans son usine. Le député-maire communiste de la ville, Maurice Babin (Gérard Depardieu) ne se prive pas de souffler sur les braises. Un jour les ouvriers déclenchent une grève sans préavis qui débouche sur la séquestration de Pujol. Il fait une grave attaque cardiaque. Dans l'attente de son rétablissement, sa « potiche » de femme décide, à la surprise générale, de prendre la direction de l'entreprise. Et, à la surprise générale, elle s'en tire plutôt bien.

Julius Caesar is celebrating his victory over all of Gaul, but Lucius Detritus has kept from him that one village has managed to resist them. Detritus travels to the garrison near the village where Caius Bonus (Crismus Bonus), the garrison's commanding Centurion, explains that the Gauls have a magic potion, which makes them invincible.
