Synopsis
Le film se déroule à Beaumont-les-Vignes, une commune fictive du sud-est de la France, dans un avenir proche. Deux sœurs, tante Hilda et Dolorès, ont suivi des parcours diamétralement opposés. Hilda, une jeune femme rousse à la silhouette dégingandée, est farouchement écologiste : elle se déplace à bicyclette, se préoccupe constamment de la préservation de l'environnement et a rassemblé un musée végétal où elle conserve toutes sortes de plantes. Dolorès, elle, est devenue la PDG sans scrupules d'une entreprise multinationale de l'agroalimentaire recherchant le profit à court terme. Grâce à la technologie des OGM, qui consiste à modifier génétiquement les plantes, Dolorès a mis au point une nouvelle céréale, baptisée Attilem, une sorte d'artichaut géant doté de tentacules. Ce nouveau produit, capable de pousser avec très peu d'eau et sans engrais, qui devrait lui rapporter des bénéfices astronomiques. Elle affirme même qu'il pourrait résoudre le problème de la faim dans le monde et remplacer le pétrole comme nouvelle source d'énergie. Mais bientôt, les plantes Attilem commencent à pousser trop vite, hors de tout contrôle, et envahissent le monde entier. Dolorès fait alors concevoir un pesticide qu'elle se propose de vendre aux gouvernements pour lutter contre la catastrophe qu'elle a elle-même provoquée. Tante Hilda ne l'entend pas de cette oreille et entreprend de sauver le monde, mais la partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance.Actors

The film is set in Beaumont-les-Vignes, a fictional town in south-eastern France in the near future. Two sisters, Hilda and aunt Dolores, followed diametrically opposite course. Hilda, a young redhead at the lanky silhouette, environmentalist fiercely: it moves a bicycle, is always concerned about the preservation of the environment and gathered a plant museum where she keeps all kinds of plants. Dolores, she became the ruthless CEO of a multinational company in the food seeking profits in the short term. Thanks to the GMO technology that involves genetically modifying plants, Dolores has developed a new cereal called Attilem, a kind of giant artichoke with tentacles. This new product, able to grow with very little water and no fertilizer, which should bring him astronomical profits. She says even he could solve the problem of hunger in the world and replace oil as a new source of energy. But soon the Attilem plants begin to grow too fast, out of control, and invade the world. Dolores is then design a pesticide it proposes to sell to governments to fight against the disaster that it has itself provoked. Aunt Hilda does not hear it that way and began to save the world, but the game is not won.

At a remote construction site in Latin America, an American developer named Jekhide attempts to build a resort, however the site is attacked by a mysterious force, causing several workers to get trapped underground. One of the worker's daughters Mia has a premonition. So after saying a few words of parting at her mother's grave, she sets out on a journey across mountains and jungles to search for her father. In 2805, Earth is long-abandoned and covered in heaps of garbage leftover from decades of mass consumerism, facilitated by the megacorporation Buy 'n' Large (BnL). Seven hundred years earlier, BnL evacuated Earth's population in fully automated starliners, leaving behind WALL-E trash compactor robots to clean the planet for humanity's eventual return, however the plan failed and all the bots were shut off. Only one WALL-E robot remains active, and has developed sentience after so many years of life-experience. He manages to remain active by repairing himself using parts from other inactive units.

The opening shot is a panorama of Los Angeles, revealing a city where all of the buildings and inhabitants are some form of commercial branding: birds in the form of Bentley logos, Microsoft's butterfly, pedestrians in the shape of the AIM icon, overhead highway signs mounted on Atlantic Records logos, etc. The major characters are revealed in an Altman-esque tableau. The Pringles mascot (voiced by David Fincher) pulls into a restaurant's parking lot and propositions an Esso Girl waitress (voiced by Aja Evans) who is on a smoking break. Two Michelin Man cops in a parked cruiser (voiced by Bob Stephenson and Sherman Augustus) are introduced as they debate the morality of keeping animals in zoos. Across town, Bob's Big Boy (voiced by Joel Michaely) and Haribo (voiced by Matt Winston) are on a tour at the zoo led by a flamboyant Mr. Clean (voiced by Michaely). The two boys hate the tour and hop off the tour train. They soon begin to harass the MGM lion by mooning it and throwing a Coca Cola bottle at it, but they are scolded by the zoo security, the Green Giant.

Concerned about the terrible state of the environment, dozens of animals gather for a meeting in Jellystone Park, chaired by Yogi Bear. They decide to leave their homes and search for "the perfect place"; i.e., a place free of pollution, deforestation, and other forms of mankind's despoilment. Jellystone handyman Noah Smitty helps them build a flying ship (which looks like Noah's Ark with a propeller on top) for their journey, and they decide to name it after him. Because "Smitty's Houseboat" is too long to paint on the bow, they name it "Noah's Ark." With Noah at the helm, they travel to places around the world searching for "the perfect place." They start by driving down the highway into the ocean, where they soon end up on the back of a sleeping Moby Dick. Huckleberry Hound is sent down to wake him. They then end up in the Sahara Desert which they originally mistake for a beach. The desert sun causes Yogi to hallucinate and believe he's King Tut until Boo Boo and Noah Smitty arrive. Some moments later, So So spots an oasis. As Yogi and crew settle down to make themselves at home, Lambsy spots a "dragon" which turns out to be a construction vehicle developing a new city. Yogi and the crew then take their leave of the area.
