Beauty and the Beast is an upcoming 2017 American live action/CGI-animated romantic musical fantasy film directed by Bill Condon and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Stephen Chbosky, based on the fairy tale of the same name by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont and the 1991 Disney animated musical film. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Kevin Kline, Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Josh Gad, Audra McDonald, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Stanley Tucci. Principal photography began at Shepperton Studios in Surrey on May 18, 2015. Filming ended on August 21, 2015. The film is to be released on March 17, 2017, in 3D.
Synopsis
À la fin du XVIII siècle, dans un château proche d'un petit village français, vivait un jeune prince capricieux, égoïste et insensible. Pour avoir refusé d'abriter une fée déguisée en vieille mendiante, il est condamné à vivre sous l'apparence d'une bête monstrueuse jusqu'à ce qu'il puisse aimer une femme et s'en faire aimer en retour, ce qui le délivrerait du sortilège qui a frappé son château et ses habitants. The story opens in 2010, with the release of the Afghan War Logs. It then flashes back to 2007, where journalist Daniel Domscheit-Berg meets Australian computer hacker Julian Assange for the first time, at the Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin. Daniel's interest in online activism has led him to Assange, with whom he has corresponded by email. They begin working together on WikiLeaks, a website devoted to releasing information being withheld from the public while retaining anonymity for its sources. Their first major target is a private Swiss bank, Julius Baer, whose Cayman Islands branch has been engaged in illegal activities. Despite Baer's filing of a lawsuit and obtaining an injunction, the judge dissolves the injunction, allowing Julian and Daniel to reclaim the domain name. As their confidence increases, the two push forward in publishing information over the next three years, including secrets on Scientology, revealing Sarah Palin's email account, and the membership list of the British National Party.

Elsa, Princess of Arendelle, possesses cryokinetic powers, with which she is able to produce or manipulate ice, frost and snow at will. An enchantress, disguised as an old beggar, offers a rose to a young prince, in exchange for shelter in his castle from the cold, but the prince refuses. Since getting divorced, Baroness Amantine-Lucile-Aurore Dupin, previously Baroness Dudevant, the successful and notorious writer of sensational romance novels now living under the pseudonym George Sand, in Paris, has been in the habit of dressing like a man.
