Beaks: The Movie (Spanish: El ataque de los pájaros) is a 1987 Spanish horror movie directed by René Cardona Jr. It stars Michelle Johnson and Christopher Atkins as reporters trying to figure out why birds have starting attacking people. It was first released in Europe in 1987 and also known as Beaks: The Birds 2, Birds of Prey and Evil Birds.

Synopsis

Vanessa, a television reporter covering a story about a farmer attacked by his chickens, discovers that this is not an isolated incident. Travelling to Spain with her henchman, (also cameraman and boyfriend) Peter, the two discover the survivors of a town wiped out by the birds thirty years ago. Meanwhile, attacks continue as a child's birthday party ends in tragedy and doves devour a poultry farmer and his wife. Vanessa soon comes to the conclusion that the birds are organizing themselves against the ecological ravages of man (of what they did to them), but time is running out as thousands of birds of all types launch attack for revenge against a train Vanessa is travelling on...

Steven (Hugo Stiglitz), a US-born Mexican businessman, arrives in a Mexican fishing/resort village for a vacation on a yacht anchored off shore. One of the local fishermen, Colorado (Roberto Guzmán), takes Steven with him when he goes to haul in the sharks he has caught. Colorado is annoyed to learn that another shark has taken a huge bite out of one of his captured sharks. Steven says he feels bad for the sharks, then shrugs, "that's life." He then decides to scope to local beaches for sexy women. He sets his sights on Patricia (Fiona Lewis), an Englishwoman on vacation. They have a whirlwind romance but break up when Steven can't decide if he is in love with her. Steven is extremely jealous, however, when she begins a relationship with Miguel (Andrés García) a womanizing swimming instructor at the nearby resort hotel. While Steven stews on the yacht, Patricia and Miguel have sex. Then she goes skinny dipping in the ocean for a morning swim and is eaten by a large, apparently emphysemic, 19-foot-long (5.8 m) tiger shark.

A playboy serial killer (Hugo Stiglitz) seduces beautiful women under false pretenses, inviting them to his ranch/castle, to proceed to kill them in gruesome ways. He uses the flesh of the women to feed a great number of cats that he keeps in a pit, and keeps their heads as trophies, pickled inside glass jars. However, one woman he attempts to kill escapes. He runs after her, and gets a minor face injury during a struggle with her. The cats escape from the pit through a hole in a fence and, sensing the injury, attack and devour Stiglitz. The woman manages to escape in her car.
