Bittersweet Motel (2000) is a documentary about the rock group Phish. The film was directed by Todd Phillips (later the director of Old School and The Hangover) and covers the band's summer and fall 1997 tours, plus footage from their 1998 spring tour of Europe. The documentary ends with The Great Went, a giant two-day festival held in upstate Maine which attracted 70,000 people.

The film's title comes from a Phish song of the same name, which is featured at the end of the movie.

To celebrate his upcoming marriage to Tracy Garner (Sasha Barrese), Doug Billings (Justin Bartha) travels to Las Vegas with his best friends Phil Wenneck (Bradley Cooper) and Stu Price (Ed Helms), as well as Tracy's brother and Doug's future brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis), in Doug's future father-in-law's vintage Mercedes-Benz. They stay at Caesars Palace, where they relax in the room before celebrating with a few drinks on the hotel rooftop. The next morning, Phil, Stu, and Alan awaken to find they have no memory of the previous night, and Doug is nowhere to be found. Stu is missing a tooth, their hotel suite is in disarray, a tiger is in their bathroom, a chicken in their living room, and a baby is in the closet, whom they name "Carlos". They find Doug's mattress impaled on a statue outside of their hotel and when they ask for their Mercedes, the valet delivers an LVPD police cruiser.

The film follows the pop star Justin Bieber during 10 days counting down to what is considered his biggest performance, that of August 31, 2010 in Madison Square Garden, which sold out in 22 minutes. It shows footage of the performances during this period from his My World Tour. Last Days Here follows Bobby Liebling, lead singer of Pentagram, an Alexandria, Virginia-based heavy metal group founded in 1971 and active sporadically throughout the following four decades. At the film's outset, Liebling is in his 50s, living in his parents' basement, and addicted to drugs. After Pentagram's music is rediscovered by the heavy metal underground scene, Liebling begins to recover from his lifestyle. His friend and manager Sean "Pellet" Pelletier attempts to help Liebling overcome his drug addiction and escape his old life. The film ends in 2010 with Liebling and Pentagram returning to the stage and Liebling sober, married and his new wife expecting their first child.
