The film tells the story of a boy who adopts a robot and starts being mean to it, until the robot goes into a murdering rampage. The film was released in March 20, 2011.
Synopsis
In the near future, where robotics have greatly evolved, Alex (Max Records) is looking for the normal loving family that he doesn't have - his parents (played by Jenni Fontana and James Nardini) are always too busy fighting with each other to worry about the effect on him. After seeing an advertisement for a domestic robot named 'Blinky', he asks his parents for one for Christmas, hoping that it will bring his family together as is shown in the advert. After obtaining Blinky and playing with him for a while, shown in a home-video style montage, Alex feels disappointment in the fact that Blinky hasn't changed anything and his parents continue to argue. Eventually, Alex becomes tired of the robot and ignores him, even when Blinky persistently asks to play games.Actors

In the 2040s, a Martian research base, Tantalus Base outpost, is created. The eight person crew, who have been stationed there for six months, are only nineteen hours from the completion of their research mission. The spacecraft Aurora is inbound from Earth and will collect the team by lander from a prearranged site. Mars scientist Marko Petrović has found samples that may point to life on the planet. Without revealing his discovery, he devises a ruse for one last sojourn on the surface. Crewmate Richard Harrington drives Petrović in a solar powered rover to the spot where he had found the sample. After he obtains soil with the biological agent present, a fissure swallows Petrović.

The film begins with Max, a lonely nine-year-old boy with an active imagination whose parents are divorced, wearing a wolf costume and chasing his dog. His older sister, Claire, does nothing when her friends crush Max's snow fort (with him inside) during a snowball fight. Out of frustration, Max messes up her bedroom and destroys a frame that he had made for her. At school, Max's teacher teaches him and his classmates about the eventual death of the sun. Later on, his mother, Connie, invites her boyfriend Adrian to dinner. Max becomes upset with his mother for not coming to the fort he made in his room. He wears his wolf costume, acts like an animal, and demands to be fed. When his mother gets upset, he throws a tantrum and bites her on the shoulder. She yells at him and he runs away, scared by what has transpired. At the edge of a pond Max finds a small boat that he boards.

An atomic war has seemingly destroyed most (if not all) human civilization, leaving Earth contaminated with radioactive fallout. Le policier Mark Corley est avec son fils Trent dans le métro et assiste à l'invasion de Los Angeles par des extra-terrestres. Audrey, la conductrice de métro reçoit un message l'avertissant de ne pas regarder une lumière bleue. Or Trent, ignorant ce message l'a vu et est hypnotisé. C'est l'intervention de son père qui l'a retenu de toutes ses forces, l'empêchant ainsi d'être aspiré contrairement aux autres personnes qui ont regardées cette lumière. Mark aide ensuite un petit groupe de survivants à quitter la ville envahie par les extra-terrestres mais au cours de leur périple ils sont capturés et enfermés à bord d'un vaisseau spatial alien. Séparé du groupe de survivants, Mark rencontre un extra-terrestre différent des autres, celui-ci se bat du côté des humains qui est en fait Jarrod du film précédent. Mark rencontre ensuite Elaine, la femme de Jarrod, enceinte et sur le point d'accoucher, il l'aide à faire naître leur enfant qui s'avère être une petite fille qui grandit très vite et se révèle avoir des dons. Mark retrouve ensuite son fils qui se fait décerveler par des tentacules hostiles afin de devenir un soldat extra-terrestre, la conductrice de métro et l'aveugle noir et ensemble ils se battent tous contre le chef des aliens. Au cours de la bagarre, l'astronef finit par échouer au Laos. L'aveugle noir succombe à ses blessures tandis que Mark et la conductrice de métro qui tient dans ses bras la petite fille rencontrent deux asiatiques, Sua et Kanya. Ces derniers, un frère et une sœur qui appartiennent au triangle d'or, s'aident mutuellement pour combattre la menace extraterrestre. Ils se réfugient dans un temple bouddhiste où Mark, Audrey et la jeune fille rencontrent un scientifique du nom de Harper. Celui-ci a trouvé un remède contre les effets de la lumière hypnotique dans le sang de la jeune fille. Avec ce remède versé dans une seringue, Mark s'infiltre dans le vaisseau extra-terrestre et parvient à l'injecter dans une bombe extraterrestre qui rend la conscience à tous les humains qui ont été transformés en alien et tue le chef des envahisseurs. Dix ans plus tard, le bébé qui est devenu adulte est à la tête de la résistance humaine, traquant les extra-terrestres jusqu'au confins de l'univers pour les éliminer.

The Russian space station Mir contacts a research ship in the South Pacific, Akademik Vladislav Volkov. An archaeological party explore some caverns underground. Dr. Campbell and Dr. Hughes are the two leaders of the archaeological expedition, and get separated. While Dr. Hughes finds an alien corpse with a fossilized diamond, Dr. Campbell finds hieroglyphics at the cost of the party except for Hughes and himself. Two years later, Campbell and his assistant Holly are digging up the bones of Yonggary, a gargantuan dinosaur 50 times the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Out of nowhere, people slowly are being killed around the site. While Holly is working, Dr. Hughes, who has been legally dead for 2 years, goes to Holly and tells her to stop the dig. Dr. Campbell comes into the tent and sends Dr. Hughes off. Holly quits the expedition when another "Accident" occurs. In the town bar, Dr. Hughes finds Holly and takes her back to her Hotel room to tell her why he thinks the bones of the Dinosaur, which he calls Yonggary, are going to bring the end of the world. After explaining, Holly and Hughes go to the site to stop Campbell but it is too late and Aliens resurrect Yonggary. After Yonggary's first appearance, the Army comes in and takes Holly and Campbell to an army base when Yonggary is dispatched by the aliens again. The army sends choppers after Yonggary, but he destroys them. Yonggary is then sent to the city (which was thought to be New York by fans, but is actually an all CGI Los Angeles near Korea Town) and does some damage, where some jets attack him. Then Yonggary is transported to a power plant where he is attacked by rocket pack soldiers. During the fight, Hughes and Holly find out that the diamond on Yonggary's forehead is the device giving the aliens control of Yonggary. Yonggary is transported back into the city, where the remainder of the soldiers destroy the diamond on his head. Enraged, the aliens send down their own monster, Cycor. Yonggary and Cycor battle, with Yonggary winning. The following morning, Yonggary went to sleep and sent to an uninhabited island where Yonggary can adjust to normal life and become a hero.
