Synopsis
Viticulteur dans le Bordelais, Patrick a déclenché l'ire de sa femme, Alicia, une œnologue espagnole extrêmement jalouse, en posant les yeux sur une autre femme. Pour se faire pardonner, il emmène son intraitable épouse sur une île de la Méditerranée, au large des Balkans, où jadis ils vécurent leur lune de miel. La guerre civile éclate alors que les tourtereaux ombrageux ont tout juste posé le pied sur l'île. En compagnie d'autres Français, parmi lesquels une secrétaire complexée, un jeune réformé psychiatrique en quête de calme, un journaliste sportif et un couple de retraités accrochés à leur chien, ils vont affronter des situations très délicates.Actors

At the end of the fifteenth century, the armies of King Charles VIII go through Italy to conquer the Kingdom of Naples. Yvon Rance, hairdresser by vocation, in the small town of Cancale, have one student daughter Laetitia, he wants to make her a successful hairdresser. She would open a salon in Laval or Quimper. Friends of the first part can be found in the ski resort of Val d'Isere where Jerome, Gigi and Popeye work. Jerome and Gigi are now married : Gigi holds a pancake while Jerome exercised in his medical practice. Nathalie and Bernard, reconciled and fairly "new rich" are owners of a time share. Jean-Claude, always in search of a soul mate and still no seduction, desperately trying to dredge anything that moves. Christiane landed with a married man and much older than her, Marius. Popeye is now much less sure of himself: humiliated by his wife cheating on him with his cousin, he claims his friends that he is the manager of a ski shop when it was held by the same couple. During an exit off piste skiing, the group loses before being rescued by mountain peasants, which will make them taste artisan food and drink: first of pussy - a strong cheese soaked in fat , rinds, and wood alcohol for two or three seasons - and the shallot liquor found in garlic juice "because shallot alone, it s'rait too bland" in a parody of the famous scene Tontons gunslingers.

In 1942, in Paris, which is seized by Germany, a grocer Edmond Batignole (Gérard Jugnot) is living with his family in his grocery building. He has a daughter who is soon to be married. His future son-in-law, Pierre-Jean (Jean-Paul Rouve) and his wife wanted the apartment owned by a Jewish family. When the properties of all the Jews was confiscated the Batignole family got the apartment. The Jewish family was sent to transportation to Germany. After the Batignoles had occupied the apartment the Batignoles organise a party for the SS officials and during that party young Simon Bernstein (Jules Sitruk) of the Jewish family who had escaped from the Germans, returns to his home. Edmond Batignole feels sorry for the boy and hides him in the apartment from his family before anyone else could see him. Soon Simon's cousins meet him in the cellar of the grocery and the grocer plans to smuggle the children over the border to Switzerland.

Deux demi-frères (Sylvain Green et Claus Obalski) doivent retrouver leur demi-sœur pour toucher l'héritage de leur père. Seul petit inconvénient, les deux frères ne se sont rencontrés que dans le bureau du notaire; et le seul indice dont ils disposent sur leur sœur est une photo. La sœur est en plus embrigadée dans une secte. Il s'ensuit alors une course-poursuite passant par la Normandie, l'Espagne (dans un village naturiste) et la Tunisie. Leur sœur retrouvée, ils retournent chercher leur héritage, mais tout n'est pas si simple.
