Synopsis
Fabrizio Barbetti (Christian De Sica) and Lisa Pinzoni (Sabrina Ferilli) are two remarried doctors who, since divorce, have been simply unable to get along with each other. They hate one another to such an extent that they argue and fight in public, even on television, but their lives as a divorced couple are going to change as they establish, with their respective new partners, to spend their Christmas holidays in Gstaad, Switzerland. Here, after a difficult start, the two end up falling again for each other and begin planning to make their partners do so as well, so that they can end their current relationships and start a new life together. However, they ignore that Angela (Fabrizio's new wife) and Gabriele (Lisa's current husband) have been cheating on them for a year and are already in a relationship. In fact, the vacation was planned by them in order to make Fabrizio and Lisa want to get back together.Actors

During the Christmas holidays, in Cortina d'Ampezzo interweave three stories. The Roman lawyer Fabio Ciulla goes on holiday to Egypt. He is pursuing his wife, whom he has repeatedly betrayed, in an attempt to persuade her to forgive him. The police sergeant Enrico Ombroni also travels to the land of the Pharaohs with a guard (Biagio Izzo) to get his young daughter away from a musical group of which she is a fan. The two protagonists meet in Egypt for an exchange of misunderstandings, since Ciulla by mistake has a love affair with a young girl while his wife forgives him. In the north of Italy in the town of Busto Arsizio, the clumsy and foolish Lorenzo leaves with his daughter Marta for the Christmas holiday for the city of Aspen, in Colorado. In Rome, the vulgar and womanizer Remo Proietti decides to recover unnecessarily loving relationship with his young wife Kelly, and so the two depart for America, while Remo's friends bettors and gamblers alike depart for America, but for Las Vegas. The story of Remo and Lorenzo starts just as Marta, in full adolescent phase, meets the famous Luke Perry and falls in love. In Aspen, Remo also discovers that his old friend Paolone, bettor and also usurer, is spending her Christmas holidays. When Remo loses a game of cards with him, threatening him Paolone legally, Remo is forced to sign a contract stating that his rival will have a sexual relationship with his wife. But Remo turns out that Kelly has a twin sister, valley of a club in the red light: Michelle.

In Christmas of 1983 two families collide in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The first is very rich, elegant, refined taste and character and comes from Milan, consisting of Christian De Sica and Riccardo Garrone, while the second is made up of people extremely vulgar and rough to Rome contains the funny characters Claudio Amendola, Marilù Tolo and Mario Brega. The stories and adventures of the members of the two families intersect and give rise to hilarious misunderstandings, while a penniless pianist (Jerry Calà) fall in love again with his ex-girlfriend (Stefania Sandrelli). Roberto Covelli (De Sica) has an American girlfriend but worthy of much attention and persistently courted by Mario Marchetti (Amendola) which was initially became involved in a meeting with the girlfriend of a friend of his. The contact between the two families will be done through the acquaintance of Mario with a member of Covelli which, when seen in front of the rude common people of Rome are upset. After many adventures finished good and evil Samantha's girlfriend, Roberto, will notice the sad courting the mild Mario and give him what he wishes for one night before leaving for ever's America. Meanwhile, the Covelli Family with astonishment and regret discovers that his young son Roberto is gay. One year after the holiday, families reunite in Sardinia during the summer and will create a new whirlwind of hilarious situations.
