Synopsis
Nicolas Lejeune est un producteur de musique dont la carrière et la vie de famille battent de l'aile. Sophie Demanche, qui dirige l'immense groupe dont fait partie son petit label, lui lance comme défi de remplir l'Olympia avec un nouveau projet dans six mois. Au pied du mur, Nicolas et son assistante Sabrina vont mettre sur pied un groupe de musique censé être œcuménique, composé d'un curé, d'un rabbin et d'un imam pour chanter la diversité et le vivre-ensemble. Les membres du groupe vont cependant rencontrer quelques difficultés à s'accorder.Actors

Régis et Joël sont deux demi-frères que tout oppose : le premier est métis, marié et père d'une fille, conseiller municipal dans une mairie et intégré au milieu de la classe moyenne ; tandis que le second est sans-emploi et vit chez sa mère avec sa fille, depuis sa sortie de prison pour agression sur une personne âgée. Les deux hommes sont un jour réclamés aux Antilles au chevet de leur père mourant, absent car ayant énormément voyagé et connu de nombreuses femmes. Là, ils reçoivent pour seul héritage l'acte d'affranchissement ayant libéré leurs ancêtres esclaves. Nullement préoccupés par la valeur symbolique de ce document, ils le déchirent, ce qui provoque la colère de leur tante.

Le jeune et talentueux footballeur français Leslie Konda, évoluant au poste d'attaquant, vient de signer un contrat avec un grand club espagnol. Son agent Didier, présenté comme étant de faible envergure, l'a repéré durant son adolescence. Les ancêtres de Leslie sont originaires du Botswanga, pays dirigé par le dictateur Bobo Babimbi. Ce dernier, passionné de football, conclut un arrangement crapuleux avec Didier pour que Leslie Konda intègre la sélection nationale de son pays, les Crocodiles du Botswanga. Didier et Leslie vont vivre une semaine au sein d'une dictature ubuesque où le tyran connaît mieux les prénoms de ses crocodiles domestiques mangeurs d'opposants politiques que ceux de ses propres enfants.

L'histoire est centrée sur Joseph, un jeune danseur de hip-hop. Un jour, il décide de quitter l'entreprise d'artisan couvreur de son père pour participer à un concours de danse à Paris, les Masters of Hip-Hop. Avec sa copine Emma et son ami Karim, il parvient à trouver une place dans le crew de Youri. Mais alors que l'équipe parvient à se qualifier pour la finale du concours, une trahison d'Emma le conduit à abandonner la compétition. Hébergé par Rémi, l'ancien amant de sa mère décédée, il découvre le lieu dans lequel il travaille, une école de danse classique. Alors que celle-ci est en perte de vitesse, Rémi risque de perdre son poste de professeur s'il ne parvient pas à lui faire remonter la pente. Il a alors l'idée de mélanger le hip-hop et la danse classique pour aider Joseph à reprendre confiance en lui en tant que danseur et meneur. Il y fera la rencontre de Chloé, qui prépare le concours d'entrée au New York City Ballet.

In 1960, an aspiring musician, Govind (Shahid Kapoor), meets Ruksar (Priyanka Chopra), a young woman who ran away from her home with her best friend to become a famous film star, on a train heading to Bombay, India. The two bond over their careers but part ways after arriving in Bombay. Govind befriends Mahi (Prachi Desai), a confident and modern girl. Ruksar meets Govind again and the two hit it off at a party. When Govind notices a photo journalist following him and Ruksar, he holds Mahi's hand to mislead him, unaware that Mahi has fallen in love with him. Two young men hit the road to Hollywood, CA to look for money, fame, and the wild life in this youthful comedy. The Lecturer tells an assembly of American parents about the evils of marijuana ("Reefer Madness"). A long-running live radio show is in danger of being canceled by new owners of the company that holds both radio station "WLT" and the theater where the show is broadcast. The film takes place on the night of the show's last performance. The show has two visitors: an angel calling herself Asphodel (Virginia Madsen) comes to comfort the people who work on the show and to escort one of them to the afterlife, while "the Axeman" (Tommy Lee Jones), a representative of the new owners, arrives to judge whether the show should be canceled. He makes it clear that the show is not what he considers modern popular programming, and though he too is escorted by the angel, the show is shut down anyway. In an epilogue at the end of the film the former cast members are reunited at Mickey's Diner. Their conversation pauses as they are joined by Asphodel.
