Columbus Circle is an independent thriller film directed by George Gallo and co-written by Gallo and Kevin Pollak. The film stars Selma Blair, Giovanni Ribisi, Beau Bridges, Amy Smart, Jason Lee, and Kevin Pollak. The film was released directly to video in the United States on March 6, 2012. Producer Christopher Mallick is accused of stealing millions of dollars from customers of his now defunct billing company "ePassporte" to fund the production of his films.
The film is about an heiress who has shut herself inside her Columbus Circle apartment for nearly two decades. A detective investigating the death of one of her neighbors and the duo who move into the subsequently vacant apartment force her to face her fears of the outside world.
Synopsis
Une nuit, Madame Lonnigan - octogénaire résidente de la célèbre demeure de Columbus Circle - est assassinée dans son appartement sans mobile apparent. En enquêtant sur l'incident, le détective Frank Giardello fait la connaissance de la voisine de la victime, mademoiselle Abigail Clayton qui vit en recluse dans l'appartement en face. Cette dernière est amenée à se rapprocher de la femme du couple se disputant qui a emménagé dans l'appartement de la victime. C'est une ruse destinée à voler l'argent d'Abigail, riche héritière célèbre qui se cache du public depuis plusieurs années. Après plusieurs meurtres commis par le couple, Abigail déjoue la tentative de substitution d'identité censée permettre de détourner sa fortune et peut enfin quitter sa résidence pour découvrir le monde.Actors

A family escapes their busy lifestyles to their upscale suburban cottage. At Christmas time, Bill Firpo (Nicolas Cage), a straight-laced New York restaurant manager, gets an unpleasant Christmas gift. His brothers Dave (Jon Lovitz) and Alvin (Dana Carvey) are paroled early due to overcrowding and placed in Bill's custody. Dave and Alvin ask their brother to take them to Paradise, Pennsylvania to do a favor for a fellow inmate of theirs. Bill refuses because one, his brothers are not allowed out of New York State and two, he knows Dave's pathological tendencies. He only agrees after getting tied to a robbery their brothers made via his dropped wallet. When they discover Paradise's bank is light on security, Bill feels the urge to rob it if he had a gun. Fortunately, there are guns in the Infiniti sedan Dave and Alvin borrowed. With Alvin driving a stolen decrepit car, Bill and Dave storm the bank. The wife of the bank's president (Angela Paton) tells them that the bank safe door is locked and the president, Mr. Clifford Anderson (Donald Moffat), who has the key, is having lunch in the restaurant nearby. While Dave stays in the bank doing yoga breathing with the hostages, Alvin and Bill charge into the restaurant and call in a robbery. They order all customers to come with Bill to the bank so that no one calls the police when they go. Mr. Anderson opens the safe's door and Bill checks for motion sensors via a perfume spray. He steps over the sensors, gets the money, but while getting out of the safe, he touches the sensors via one of the money bags. Bill and Dave rush out of the bank and get away with their crime, stealing $275,000.

In 1976, Frank Pesce Jr. (Lapaglia) is a lucky man. His father, Frank Sr. (Aiello), is, however, very unlucky. One day, Frank Jr. buys a lottery ticket and finds that he has a good chance of winning. But Frank Sr. has some gambling debts to the mob and they are willing to take Frank Jr.'s ticket. Frank must decide what to do with the ticket. The plot is supposedly based on the true story of the first person to win the New York Lottery, but Frank Pesce Jr. never won the lottery.
