Command Performance is a 2009 American action film written and directed by Dolph Lundgren, who also starred in the film. The film was released on direct-to-DVD in the United States on November 3, 2009.
The film was premiered at the Ischia Global Film & Music Festival on July 18, 2009. Filming took place between August and September 2008 in Sofia, Bulgaria and Moscow, Russia.
Dolph Lundgren wanted to use his drumming skills on screen, and the story was inspired by a concert Madonna did for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The movie marks Ida Lundgren's (Dolph's daughter) screen début.
Synopsis
In August 1991, there was an attempted coup against Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev by ex-communist military hard-liners. The coup failed, and all members of it were arrested; from the ashes of the old Soviet Union, the modern Russian Federation was born.Actors

The Expendables—led by Barney Ross and formed by Lee Christmas, Gunnar Jensen, and Toll Road—extract former member Doctor Death, a knives specialist and team medic, from a military prison during his transfer on a train. They recruit Doc to assist them in intercepting a shipment of bombs meant to be delivered to a warlord in Somalia. Arriving there, they reunite with Hale Caesar, who directs them to the drop point, where Ross is surprised to find out that the arms trader providing the bombs is Conrad Stonebanks, a former co-founder of the Expendables who went rogue and was presumed dead. A lone stranger named Ryder (Dolph Lundgren) comes into a small Texas town on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for the funeral of his good friend J.J., a local Native American carpenter. Ryder spends his time in town reading the Bible while drinking straight tequila sans salt and lime. A group of terrorists led by Commander Topov (Zahary Baharov) kidnap the Ukrainian prime minister's son and daughter and hold them hostage, demanding the release of their imprisoned comrades within 72 hours. In addition, they have taken over the crippled Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and threaten to detonate it if their demands are not met. U.S. forces join up with the Ukrainian army at the plant, but quickly retreat when the NGU slaughters most of them effortlessly. Dr. Porter (Garry Cooper), Dr. Colin's former colleague on the Universal Soldier program, revives four UniSols to take down the NGU, but they are systematically eliminated.

When an anonymous benefactor invites a party of celebrities and business magnates to a New Year's celebration aboard the Orient Express, it is the guests' greed which brings them all together.
