Ce film a fait l'objet d'une projection au Festival international du film de Tokyo en 2005 sous le thème Winds of Asia.
Synopsis
Une jeune danseuse introvertie (Tian Yuan) fréquente l'éclairagiste (Francis Ng) d'un tout nouveau spectacle de danse intitulé Lola. À la fin de la première représentation, cachée dans un placard, elle est témoin du décès de la danseuse étoile (Sui Junbo). Des auditions sont alors organisées afin de trouver une remplaçante voulant interpréter le premier rôle. Pendant que la police poursuit son enquête et interroge témoins et suspects, des tensions parmi les danseuses de la troupe se manifestent. Un froid apparaît également au sein du jeune couple, ce qui mettra en péril la franchise mutuelle qui unit les deux amants.Actors

Ming, Annie (Ming's girlfriend), and three other friends (Rubbish, Big-B, and Biggie) play a game of "contacting ghosts"—they mix their blood with water and drink from the mixture, form a circle by holding hands, and inhale fumes from the burning of oil secreted from a corpse. Ming backs out before the game starts. While the others are playing, Ming sees a long-haired female ghost in a blue dress appearing near them. He immediately stops them. The three friends meet their ends not long later: Rubbish dies of a heart attack in the bathroom; Big-B falls to his death from a rooftop; Biggie strangles her mother to death and then commits suicide.

Due to his rebellious nature, Lo Fei suffered a traumatic childhood with abuse and maltreatment from his bad-tempered but famous sculptor father. Apart from receiving corporal punishment and verbal abuse, he was often locked up inside the wardrobe. In the Haibei People's Hospital, Qinghai province, China, the present day on the night of a full moon, a patient is murdered by a syringe through her chest. A group of drama students idolize their favourite horror film star, Conrad Razkoff (Ferdy Mayne). In the beginning, Conrad is acting in a commercial for dentures, and the Director (Peter Kastner) stops the filming because he does not like Conrad's performance. While the director sits on the edge of the balcony, an angry Conrad pushes him off with his cane. Later, Conrad visits a school and talks about his performances, only to faint under excitement. One of the Drama students, Meg (Jennifer Starrett), revives him. Later, as Conrad sits in his bed, his obese director Wolfgang (Leon Askin) visits him. After a long talk about his death arrangements, Conrad closes his eyes and tricks the director into believing he is dead. Then, the director denounces him until Conrad springs up and smothers him with a pillow. After Conrad dies, the seven drama students, Meg, Saint (Luca Bercovici), Bobo (Scott Thomson), Eve (Carlene Olson), Donna (Donna McDaniel), Oscar (Alan Stock), and Stu (Jeffrey Combs), go to the cemetery after dark, they sneak into the tomb where Conrad's coffin resides. The lights turn on and they see a film of Conrad stating that he welcomes them into his tomb, unless,he says, they have broken in. Creeped out, Meg asks them not to take Conrad, but they do, and take him to an old mansion where they stay for the night.
