Synopsis
Le soir du réveillon, Éric, déguisé en Père Noël, pénètre dans sa maison où l'attendent impatiemment ses trois enfants (Dimitri, Clarisse et Sophie) ainsi que son épouse Véronique. Les petits lui offrent un disque que Dimitri s'empresse de mettre. Après quelques notes, Éric, bouleversé, part en claquant la porte. Au petit matin, il avoue à sa famille que cette chanson est celle que lui chantait sa mère, qui l'a abandonné alors qu'il avait tout juste cinq ans. Dimitri, Clarisse et Sophie convainquent leur père de partir à la recherche de cette inconnue.Actors

Yvon Rance, hairdresser by vocation, in the small town of Cancale, have one student daughter Laetitia, he wants to make her a successful hairdresser. She would open a salon in Laval or Quimper. But Laetitia wants to make films, she secretly auditioned and was selected for the leading role. Not easy to break the news to her father who shows rather unpleasant and, as soon as he heard the news, trying by all means to prevent his daughter to make films. It's Christmas Eve and Richie Rich, the world's richest kid, is all excited to spend the day with his friends. While racing wildly with his friends in the snow, Richie's butler, Cadbury, controls the cars using a remote and guides the children back to Richie's house. He then reminds him about his responsibilities that are due to be executed on Christmas Eve, and instructs him to change his clothes and get ready for tea. Before going to do so, he visits his home scientist, Professor Keanbean, who shows him his recent invention, a wishing machine which works only on Christmas Eve. The day being that, Richie wishes for a "big pie" from it, and is given a "pig sty" instead. Cadbury is disgusted seeing this, and sends him off to change his clothes. He meets his parents, Richard and Regina Rich, to ask what they would like to have for Christmas. While with them, he also tries out his father's new fishing rod invented by Keanbean, which hooks on to a tuna sandwich in the vicinity. He then goes on to change his clothes.

In Christmas of 1983 two families collide in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The first is very rich, elegant, refined taste and character and comes from Milan, consisting of Christian De Sica and Riccardo Garrone, while the second is made up of people extremely vulgar and rough to Rome contains the funny characters Claudio Amendola, Marilù Tolo and Mario Brega. The stories and adventures of the members of the two families intersect and give rise to hilarious misunderstandings, while a penniless pianist (Jerry Calà) fall in love again with his ex-girlfriend (Stefania Sandrelli). Roberto Covelli (De Sica) has an American girlfriend but worthy of much attention and persistently courted by Mario Marchetti (Amendola) which was initially became involved in a meeting with the girlfriend of a friend of his. The contact between the two families will be done through the acquaintance of Mario with a member of Covelli which, when seen in front of the rude common people of Rome are upset. After many adventures finished good and evil Samantha's girlfriend, Roberto, will notice the sad courting the mild Mario and give him what he wishes for one night before leaving for ever's America. Meanwhile, the Covelli Family with astonishment and regret discovers that his young son Roberto is gay. One year after the holiday, families reunite in Sardinia during the summer and will create a new whirlwind of hilarious situations.

The movie begins with son Eddie feeling homesick for Transylvania. Herman decides a "good old Transylvanian Christmas" is what his troubled son needs to get in the mood for the holidays. Together with the family - including Lily, Grandpa and Marilyn, he sends out invitations to the entire Munster family, including Wolfman, Mummy, and the Gill-Man. Herman also asks for a raise from his boss and is fired, taking on other jobs such as modeling nude for an art class, donating blood, and wrapping presents. Meanwhile on Christmas Eve's eve, one of Grandpa's experiments has gone awry, accidentally transporting Santa Claus and his elves to the Munster Mansion. Christmas faces ruin as there is no way to send Santa home, and the entire family must find a way to save Christmas. Meanwhile, Marilyn falls in love and Lily enters a home decorating contest, with nosy neighbour Edna Dimitty (from the previous Munster movie Here Come The Munsters) causing trouble. Eddie also faces trouble at school from bullies.

The movie is set in December 1910. Mrs. Santa Claus is trying to convince her husband, Santa Claus, to take a new route, but he is preoccupied with the Christmas rush and won't listen. Disgruntled, she takes the sleigh out herself, but is forced to land in New York City, where she is stranded when one of the reindeer (Cupid) becomes injured. As "Mrs. North", she takes up board with a family of Jewish immigrants, who don't celebrate Christmas. She befriends many of the local children and women, and becomes involved with political issues of the period such as child labor and women's suffrage.
