Dillagi (Hindi: दिल्लगी) is a 1999 Bollywood film directed by Sunny Deol and also starring Sunny Deol alongside his real-life brother Bobby Deol and Urmila Matondkar. The film was a box office flop but Deol's first attempt at directing was appreciated.
The film is noted for being the first time Sunny Deol directed a film and also the first time he acted alongside his brother Bobby. This pairing was repeated in 23rd March 1931: Shaheed (2002), Apne (2007) and Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013).
Synopsis
Rajvir (Bobby Deol) and Ranvir (Sunny Deol) are devoted brothers. They along with their parents leave their village in Punjab to move to Mumbai. When their mother passes away, Ranvir takes on the responsibility of looking after his younger brother. After some hardship Ranvir manages to turn everything around and he becomes really wealthy. Rajvir on the other hand lives recklessly and without a care in the world.Actors

Narasimha, a young and captive man, lives a middle class life with his family in a quiet neighborhood. He gets his beautiful sister married to an eligible young man in their vicinity. On the occasion of his sister giving birth, he returns home to find a communal conflict arise between his neighborhood which spreads in the whole city. He seeks refuge in a dwelling area nearby only to return and find out his whole family has been murdered. With no aim left in life Narsimha decides to turn to crime and alcohol. He later decides to work for a man called Suraj Narayan Singh aka Bapji who is a big goonlord and capitalist of the city and basically controls the law and order of the city and rules over it using muscle power and his immense wealth . Bapji was delighted to get hold of a man like Narsimha who has wits and also muscle power but has lost desire to live and hence Narsimha executes his most difficult works which others cant accomplish. Bapji believes that he has become invincible and nobody can dare protest him since he has the city under his complete subjugation. He considers Narsimha as a weapon which can unlock his most difficult problems and a Narsimha, who is completely dejected from life, accomplishes them without asking any questions. Narsimha remains drunk full day and only comes when summoned by Bapji to execute Bapji's assignments and receive his payments.

The story is narrated by Gulabji (Rani Mukerji), a prostitute who frequents RK Bar, the town's most luxurious club.
